Actually some papers did ridicule Lincoln's Gettysburg Address in 1863. It was too short, too simplistic, too pro-war. They were, of course Democrats, or in the vernacular of the time- "Copperheads".

Yup, in 50 years the verbal diarrhea word salad spewed by trampy will be viewed as the greatest speech ever.

#3 | Posted by bored, Honestly, last the last president we had that shot his mouth off as much was TR. But TR had an intellect to back up his mouth. But honestly if TR was alive today, we would medicate him.

That's always a great defense for republicans. "Well 50-150 years ago, democrats were worse than we are now!"

That might make an interesting television fantasy - the Adventures of Monsieur Trepan, helping people defeat their moral awareness through brain dissection. Wait, that's Fox..

I saw Jeff Epstein on Ron Palcone a few days ago who is passionate about teaching Modern Monetary Theory. Ignore the music discussion while waiting for 30 to join the chatroom, but I also relate to his interest in music theory.
