Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The percentage of Americans who believe President Donald Trump should be impeached is 13 points higher than his approval rating, according to a poll conducted shortly after his onetime campaign manager was convicted of felonies and his former lawyer pleaded guilty to criminal charges. Asked if they thought Congress should begin impeachment proceedings that could lead to Trump being removed from office, 49 percent of participants in The Washington Post-ABC News poll released Friday said Congress should, while 46 percent said Congress should not. In contrast, 36 percent said they approve of how Trump is handling his job, and a record 60 percent disapproved, the poll shows.

Are you people going to do this for every Presidential politician that isnt a Democrat?

This does set a bad precedent you know.

= every Presidential politician that isnt a Democrat?

In nearly 50 years has been a criminal and or a traitor... except maybe for Poppy. Trump has been worse than most of them, and has the potential to be the very worst. Nixon quit just before he was indicted as a co-conspirator, but Donnie prolly doesn't have that much sense.

Letting a president get away with treason or obstruction of justice because he's in your party sets a GOOD precedent?

I'll be happy if repubs do this when dems elect a russian puppet. So would any patriot.

Only those who commit treason. Oh wait, that's all of the Republicans. So yes, we will probably want Republicans impeached because the commit treasonous acts that cost trillions of dollars and thousands of lives. Excuse me for caring about that.

Hopefully you did not forget that BushI and Ollie North were behind giving Iran US missiles in exchange for keeping US hostages in Iran imprisoned until after the Carter-Reagan election. A genuine act of treason.

Just wondering how you feel about your comment now? I mean the GOP just hated Obama - he wasn't a criminal - so they just blocked pretty much all legislation he wanted once they had control without any real negotiation. Now that you have a corrupt and downright criminal from the GOP in office and he is doing criminal things left and right you and the rest of the right line up to suckle his starfish. ANY TRUE PATRIOTIC AMERICAN should be looking at how we undo this farce and put this criminal in jail.

The nut jobs are really out in force on this one. All it took was another Washington Post poll bashing Trump. Same poll that had Hillary winning in a landslide LOL. Oh and btw, had her winning the ELECTORAL in a landslide when Dems admitted that is what it took to win the election.

#14 | Posted by fishpaw at 2018-09-07 09:41 AM | Reply

Trump is going to have an impeachment trial if the dems get the house and they have the right and the evidence to back it no matter what fake news Fishpaw and Boaz hang their heads on.

Even the Hillary poll was close to reality... so if this Poll is as close as the Hillary poll, conservatives need to start eating their shorts, especially if they are nike branded.

This must be embarrassing.

Washington Post predicted 4% win for Hillary several days before the election. It was 2.1% on election day. I'd call that pretty darn accurate. Even after Comey's lies about new emails.

Does it ever embarrass you looking so stupid every time you post?

One vote is a landslide if they win. Hell, Trump claims a landslide when he lost by 3 million votes.

Way to prove yourself stupid.

You just cited an August 7 poll for an election that happened three months later. Are you honestly telling me a poll 3 months before the election should be accurate to the election outcome?

The poll is "an intentional misstatement" intended to garner tribalism among the #resist movement.

No different than the DR, really. Go ahead, conduct a poll here, drawn from a pool of of people who've signed up for the yellow dog website.
I'm sure the outcome will meet your political goals. Mission Accomplished.

Oh Wait, do you believe that WaPo selected people from a national phonebook with their finger while blindfolded? LOL.

"The poll is "an intentional misstatement""

Just admit you don't know how polls are taken.

"Oh Wait, do you believe that WaPo selected people from a national phonebook with their finger while blindfolded? "

Of course not. I believe they followed the generally accepted guidelines for poll-taking, including graphing respondents to adjust for anomalies.

Meanwhile, you either intentionally made a misstatement, or you're an idiot.
