Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Harris didn't confront him with a document, so whatever this is, her sources for this conversation are outside of the paltry email dump the committee got. She continues to press him on whether or not he's spoken with anyone at Kasowitz about the Mueller investigation and he keeps asking her to identify who she's thinking of. She delivers a remarkably cold: "I think you're thinking of someone and you don't want to tell us." What in the hell was all that?!? Was Kavanaugh covertly counseling Kasowitz on Trump's defense? It would seem as though she could have dropped the hammer and gotten more specific. Not for nothing, but my immediate reaction was this may have had nothing to do with Mueller at all. Harris seemed less interested in building a case for recusal than making sure Kavanaugh knew that she knew that he knew someone at Kasowitz and that she could introduce that fact into the record at any given moment between now and the final vote on the floor.

Sen. Harris: "I think you're thinking of someone and you don't want to tell us."

She thinks she's a psychic.

Harris and Booker are modern versions of Jackson and Sharpton. Hypocritical race pimps looking for power and relevance. My guess is that Harris has some intern writing another anonymous and unverifiable editorial to be used to distract attention away from pathetic Congressional Track record. I really liked Booker's stunt today. A few pages of previously classified documents were declassified yesterday and he posts them today and then tries to play the martyr. What he was really waiting for was someone to make a motion to penalize him so he could scream racism. He was practically begging them to mention sanctioning him. 2:1 the scripted BS he spouted this morning will be in his campaign adds during the election cycle. His campaign advisor deserves a cigar for coming up with this one.

"She thinks she's a psychic."

And what will your reaction be when she produces a document?

"I think you're thinking of someone and you don't want to tell us."

Even after the alleged document is produced, I still will think she thinks she is a psychic...

The more damning the information the more he will support the nominee.

On the left, sworn testimony in which Brett Kavanaugh tells Ted Kennedy he was "not involved in handling" Bill Pryor's nomination.

On the right, Brett Kavanaugh is invited to an "emergency umbrella meeting" at a private law firm "to discuss nominee Bill Pryor's hearing."

"The same as yours, when she doesn't."

I'll take that risk.

I've been watching C-Span the entire time, and all the Dems can produce is theatrics and drama.

Of all the possible constitutional issues that could possibly arise and the Dems only talk about settled law - abortion and civil rights.

Diane Feinstein should have been aborted.

I don't like her either, but that's messed up.
