I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Meaning the arrest and prosecution of a federal congressman over insider trading....you know it happens constantly.

I remember reading that in the private sector hedge fund managers have the highest ROI. Members of congress have an even higher ROI than hedge fund managers.

#2 Warren Buffet won a bet with hedge fund managers that they could not beat an index fund.
Buffett's ultimately successful contention was that, including fees, costs and expenses, an S&P 500 index fund would outperform a hand-picked portfolio of hedge funds over 10 years.

Somehow, I don't know how, but SOMEhow this is all Mueller's doing.

HRC, B. Hussein, and the Deep State have a clear and unadulterated grip on the nation.

He just iterated that he will still be running for re-election.

DNC must be thanking him via numerous fruit baskets.

Most of us don't break the law even if it helps our kids.

You have information which you KNOW is illegal to act on. He was not giving his son a heads up, he was helping his son commit a crime. It is no different from you calling your son to tell him that nobody will be watching the till for the next hour, why don't you help yourself?

Insider trading is THEFT.

Just more proof that Republicans think the law does not apply to them.

This is a perfect example of how we do NOT have a free market economy. One of the basic requirements of a free market economy is that everyone has full information.

for classical economists such as Adam Smith the term "free market" does not necessarily refer to a market free from government interference, but rather free from all forms of economic privilege, monopolies, and artificial scarcities.

Since everyone without his information thought the company was doing well, Posessing that information created an artificial scarcity. If everyone had the information the stock would have been readily available at a lower price rather than the limited availability and higher price he sold it for.

Where did the Tea Party go???

I remember they were against frivolous spending of tax payer dollars, balloning debt, increasing deficit, etc etc etc.

They disappeared January 20th 2017 all of the sudden and haven't been seen or heard from since.

I'm worried. We could really use their help right now.
