Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, August 06, 2018

YouTube, Facebook and Apple have taken steps to remove content associated with InfoWars and its founder Alex Jones. Each social media platform said Monday that it had removed content from Jones or InfoWars because it had violated their policies. The companies' moves shut down key distribution channels that had given the controversial media figure easy access to millions of internet users. The most dramatic action came last, from YouTube, which is owned by Google (GOOGL). It removed many top channels associated with InfoWars, including The Alex Jones Channel, which had 2.4 million subscribers and videos that were viewed over 1.5 billion times.

All Real Americans are applauding Jones being removed from YouTube.

I'm banned from posting on InfoWars. Never used a curse word, never bullied anyone, just straight up called them out on the nonsense.

Alex claims to be the biggest supporter of free speech but bans those who disagree with him. In my opinion its karma.

More fodder for the freaks.

This is obviously a conspiracy by Crooked Hillary!

Alex Jones should be tarred and feathered.

I despise Jones. His conspiracy theories are garbage. He rants and raves and is more news than his subject mater. Still, if one bans some one, they increase their appeal, or at least interest. All in all Youtube's decision seems a little skewed. Anything that Jones has said has been said by many on that site. Conspiracy theories abound. 911 was an inside job, we never landed on the moon, Bush, the Mafia, the CIA, FBI,or space aliens killed JFK, the world is controlled by reptilians. Insanity abounds. The fastest way to give credibility to a mad man is is to silence him. As far as Info-wars goes, I enjoyed Paul Watson tho.

I can't believe I'm being put in this position, but lycanthropy should not be a crime.

Haha, from Infowars' own terms of service:

You will not post anything libelous, defamatory, harmful, threatening, harassing, abusive, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or otherwise illegal.

Remember: you are a guest here. It is not censorship if you violate the rules and your post is deleted. All civilizations have rules and if you violate them you can expect to be ostracized from the tribe.

#11 | Posted by Derek_Wildstar, Now for the hard part, prove that Jones was banned because he violated the terms of service or these platforms disliked his politics, (He is a libertarian). Last I looked I could still pull up sites from ANTIFA, ISIS, BLM, BAMN, the Nation of Islam and antisemitic conspiracy nuts all day long. Most openly promote violence, racism, are libelous, etc. yet have not been touched and never will be.

#12 It is possible that the United States Government is currently battling a giant outbreak of lycanthropy, but is using media management to prevent a public panic. So I'm preparing for that. The Monster Manual says those thing have 5 hit dice, so they can a huge amount of firepower, and all you have to do is get bitten once....
