Bull$#!†
First thing... who are you to tell anyone what is going to hurt them?
What is it with you people and your compartmental thinking? How many times do you have to be told this is not just about Trumplethinskin, there is a much larger issue mostly having to do with an incompetent POS put in office way whatever means. Legal or not.

Second thing...Democracy is decided on the streets not in the ballot box.
The ballot box just informs us what we are arguing about.
Right now Democracy looks weak because we put and incompetent in office.

Extracting that orange pig before his term is over will demonstrate how strong our democracy is waaaaaayyyyyy better than waiting until next time.

If it bothers you to watch or listen to... look away.

The indictment last month just RECONFIRMED the facts in the article.

www.theatlantic.com

The illegal check payments have been seen and the entities that received the checks CONFIRMED payment from Trump Foundation. That is, Trump spending charity money on himself, paying Trump Co. legal bills with charity money and not being registered as a charity. Trump University and this case against the Trump Foundation show clear trafficking in FRAUD. Anyone trying to deflect does not respect the Rule of Law.

JOE

That would seem to be the limit of the AG's scope.

If Trump could be impeached for being a flim-flam artist BEFORE he became president, impeachment would be a no-brainer. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Seems JeffJ didn't know that.

I find solace in memories of Nixon resigning. I truly hated Nixon even before he was elected. He hinted that he had a "secret plan" to get us out of Vietnam but all of us knew he was a lying scumbag. Later he proved us right. But, while he was President it was hard to believe that we would, one day, see him humiliated and forced to resign. It happened much faster than we ever dreamed possible so I live in hope that the same fate will come to Trump. Nixon lived out the rest of his live out of the public eye, that would kill Donald Trump to have to live that way.

#45 | Posted by danni at 2018-07-20 09:43 AM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

Danni, I believe Congress was more intellectually honest and capable of embarrassment back then. Not so today. If/when Mueller presents irrefutable evidence of criminal activity conducted or abetted by Trump (and i believe he will), nearly half our Congress will likely embark upon/continue an unprecedented smear campaign against our law enforcement and intelligence agencies in total service to their partisan agenda. Our system no longer works and we are very close to seeing that proven.

"You are as likely to think that Trump has the interests of the Nation in mind as I'm to think that Cuomo is only interested in upholding the law in this matter."

Everything Cuomo the Lesser does has political considerations; he's eyeing a presidential run in 2020. That said, I don't believe those are his only considerations, not with the amount of evidence they have. If anything, in this instance I think his political considerations are what have prevented him from instructing the AG to begin prosecution because the evidence that has been made public is pretty damning.

The article says that a civil suit was filed in June, so I guess we'll see how that goes. The threshold for liability is less for a civil suit than for a criminal case, anyway, so more of a chance. Maybe this is the $h!+ that gets thrown against the wall and finally sticks.
