Two state lawmakers got into a fist fight in a downtown Baton Rouge bar just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, both admitted hours later in their respective chambers, apologizing to other members, their constituents and each other. State Rep. Stuart Bishop, R-Lafayette, and Sen. Norby Chabert, R-Houma, used the same words to describe the altercation: they "had a gentleman's disagreement and settled it with our hands" at the River Room, a posh cocktail lounge.

It is interesting that those people are usually Republicans.

#1,

This sometimes happened regularly when our Republic was founded. I see nothing wrong with it. They settled it like men.

We dont have many of them left in today's society.

I doubt they settled it.
They simply vented their frustrations.
The divide between their perspectives still exists.

You just see men behaving like beasts and become aroused.

"They settled it like men."

No. They settled it like Apes.

And apparently there are a lot of them. And they are easy to spot. They wear a red hat.

We like to call them Deplorables.

They settled it like Neanderthals.

Because might makes right, right?

Hitler was right because he had the might, right?

This is what barbarians do when they can't settle something intellectually.

Good for these guys to settle their disagreement in a duel. Unfortunately I don't see a mention of the victor.

Of course you don't.

You're too dumb to know why leaders who resort to physical violence to solve intellectual disagreements is as problem.

You're too stupid to see what's wrong with being stupid.

You see smarter people using big words as a problem, simply because you can't deal with people on that level.

I'm, guessing that one was a Trump supporting Republican and the other was one of the anti-Trump Republicans.

Fisticuffs? Funniest Dave Chappelle character ever. Were these two cousins yelling 'Turn up my headphones' as they went at it?
