The Bureau of Prisons rolled back some measures on Friday that helped prevent transgender prisoners from being harassed, assaulted and sexually abused. The rules, posted just two days before President Trump's inauguration, laid out a number of guidelines for how prisons and guards should treat transgender inmates. The manual instructed prisons to "recommend housing by gender identity when appropriate." Now, under Trump, some of the policies have been altered, according to an updated manual posted to the Bureau of Prisons website Friday.

Of course he did.

He did put the "Q" on the end when he talked about them at his rallies though. It showed that he was down for the cause and sealed many of their votes.

What more could they have asked for? What did they have to lose.

Laura, you built that.

It's not fair to pick on Laura for this, but hopefully it helps prove a point to Laura.

Example 752,987 of why how both parties are the same.

Another reason if you are trans to stay out of prison. Don't go shooting someone, committing armed robbery or selling kids smack, getting thrown in the slammer and then complaining that someone is making fun of them.

OK, then Don Blankenship should have faced the death penalty for murder. Instead he's running for Senate. Fishpaw justice.

#7 He served time didn't he? I recall a certain senator from Mass that killed a women and was addorned by the likes of you that bought his way out of prison if you really want to go down that road.

I recall a First Lady who did the same. But those were both accidents.

Blankenship was intentional disregard for safety that resulted in death. He did it to save money. Not that you can tell the difference I'm sure.

And that is where the similarities ended. Laura Bush didn't leave anyone to drown while she tried to save her own political career.

Wow... an eyewitness! Imagine that.

Laura Bush... had a political career?

The actual numbers indicate that men are raped more often than women. In prisons rape is considered a "rite of passage", it is a crime anywhere else. I guess your department of corrections consider that rape has a rehabilitative value.

You watch too many prison movies. In most prisons, any contact is considered assault. While not charged as a crime, it often is penalized with loss of privileges.

She was 17... What political career would she be protecting at that age? Don't worry. Her parents took care of it for her. No charges were ever filed.

Would you like to try to spin things another way?

"The actual numbers indicate that men are raped more often than women."

There's a lot more men in prison.
I doubt you adjusted for that.
But even if you did, what's your point?

There's a lot more men in prison.

"More often" is different than the total.

Yet men are a minority. How do you explain that disproportionality?

#18 | Posted by sentinel at 2018-05-15 02:35 AM | Reply

prison rape statistics aren't worth much more than a total number. people who know about these things could look at a list of 100 state prisons..100 federal..1oo county and they'd be able to give you a pretty accurate estimation of where and a list of why's. rape in prison isn't like the BS that women have to put up with in the free world. that being said, there are definitely sexual predators but a lot of places that just doesn't go on.

Do you need to be an eye witness to know that Laura Bush didn't leave anyone to drown?
