A Utah teen stands by her decision to wear a traditional Chinese dress to her prom, a move panned by some as cultural appropriation but embraced by others. Keziah Daum said she won't give in to pressure and delete an April 22 Twitter post showing her posing with her prom date in the red cheongsam, or qipao.

"Cultural appropriation" is the battle cry of those unfun at parties they are the kind of morons that touch the plate right after the waiter tells them it's hot, and are surprised as angered when they discover it really is. Who gives a crap what is and isn't a "traditional" dress for some cultural. To use this as a reason to bully a teenager is unconscionable. It really is disgusting. People should be able to wear whatever they want, cook whatever they want, and wrote whatever type of music they want.

Sorry. Wish I could edit it. My eyes are too old these days.

"Do you think all the outraged people screeching "cultural appropriation" over a teenage Caucasian girl wearing a qipao to prom are really unaware of the millions of non-Asians who do Martial Arts...

...or do they just find it a lot easier to pick fights with teenage girls?

On the plus side, if they do outlaw cultural appropriation then I'll never have to buy another stupid, overpriced gi." -Bullshido

Can non white people wear jeans since these were inverted by a white American male? Can a Hispanic chef working in an an Asian restaurant cook egg rolls? Are native American children allowed to be the cowboy when playing cowboys and Indians??

Let's all be outraged!

How can political correctness go this badly? Is mind boggling to me.

When a black man carries a cell phone, the cops thinks it's a gun.

Black people need to understand their cultural limirations better. These cultural appropriations are often fatal for blacks.

Blacks need to think about why their actions and history cause cops to understandably mistake the items they've culturally appropriated for things normally associated with blacks, like being a thug with a gun.

Keeping up with 21 Savage in Atlanta? He started a campaign "paintballs not bullets" to paraphrase it. So.. people are getting shot with paintballs, then returning fire with bullets.

Many do not. Some do. There has been a huge trend in paintball that I despise, the rise of the "mag-fed". Paintball markers used to look like race cars, specifically to disassociate themselves with firearms due to fears of being banned. Now with mil-sim play popularized, and markers that look like actual guns, gun control groups like Brady Campaign consider them "non-powder firearms" and are looking to get them banned too.

Some veteran gave me a hassle for wearing a Vietnam era m65 jacket that came from a surplus store.

Idiots, all of them.

Snoofy can take any discussion and circle it back to racism, guns or both.

It truly is remarkable.
