Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Alex Jones has spent years claiming the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School -- where a shooter killed 20 small children and six adults -- was faked. He has claimed the parents of these dead children are liars and "crisis actors." Now, those parents are coming after him. In a pair of lawsuits filed late Monday, the parents of two children who died in the December 2012 shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, say Jones' repeated lies and conspiratorial ravings have led to death threats. The suits join at least two other recent cases accusing the Infowars host of defamation.

There have been so many interesting analysis of precisely when the Democrat party became irrelevant sometime in the beginning of the 80's. Criminal redistribution of wealth is a prime issue with the loathing of both parties since I've been here, and when Nancy Pelosi announced the Dems "took single payer off the table" I simply lost all hope they are anything less than paid to roll over on command. It's undoubtedly true that there are more extortion scams than the anthrax and sex tapes.

The small coalition of good people need their own party. We'll see who can attract the .001% "puritopians", right? 'Cause we cost you the presidency with our massive numbers and too lofty ideals.

Conspiracy addicts have one thing in common, wither it is JFK, Marlin Monroe, the moon landings, 9-11, or mass killings. There has to be a power or direction behind everything and their is not. I on the other hand know insane things happen every day. Mostly because there are plenty of individuals out there who have a very tenuous grasp of reality. They can be motivated by anything or everything or just loose their arguments with the voices in their heads. Why believe that anyone has control when that has never been true? One man can can kill more than 50 people in a tightly controlled police state with a butcher knife, and did in the Soviet Union during the 80s. What degree of control are you willing to accept for your safety? There is no safe refuge from life.

From the cited article:

...Heslin's suit focuses on what it calls a "heartless and vile" claim of Shroyer's: that the father lied in an interview with NBC News' Megyn Kelly about holding his dead son's body.

"I lost my son. I buried my son. I held my son with a bullet hole through his head," Heslin told Kelly in the June 2017 segment profiling Jones.

Days after the segment aired, Shroyer told Infowars viewers that Heslin could not have held his son because victims were identified through photographs, not in person.

"That's not something you would just misspeak on," Shroyer said during the June 26, 2017, broadcast, which Jones himself plugged a month later.

But that claim is "manifestly false," Heslin's suit says: The children's bodies were eventually turned over to their parents for their funerals....

-Sanders filled stadiums with lofty ideals.

And left voting booths nearly empty, losing the primary by several million votes... while Hillary won the popular vote by several million votes... and lost the election by a "margin smaller than total Stein votes in key swing states".

Of course, if one wants to argue that a person that was too lofty left to win a Dem party primary would have naturally won a more conservative national election, then feel free to make that highly unlikely argument here.

Just don't make the same mistake in 2 years in the voting booth.

Yes, the person who was too lofty to win the identity politics voter would have won enough of the idealist lofty swing voters who ended up voting for trump because they were sick of corporate stooges.

It is possible, but not by refusing to vote while republicans seize all levels of government and kill the sick, the poor, and the planet.

You get there an inch at a time, by supporting the less corrupt candidate.

Just like we gradually got the world's largest prison candidate by every politician trying to win over the "tough on crime" voters, we would gradually get less plutocratic government if you always vote for the less plutocratic candidate.

- idealist lofty swing voters who ended up voting for trump

You could count those on one hand. Their votes "lost the election by a "margin smaller than total Stein votes in key swing states".

There are way more conservative voters than liberal voters in the general election than in the primary Sanders lost by a landslide.

Rwing populists wouldnt have supported sanders, but anti establishment populists would have. All those stein voters you hate so much, and even some johnson voters. And that would have put him over the top.

It's all lies. And the will werk OT to torpedo anyone who tries to bring it inches to the left.

Hell, all it took was a mere mention of Bernie for Corky to trot out Swingin' Joe Biden poll numbers. The money isn't going to allow any other way.

I can tell by your short attention span that you must be young. Young people want everything NOW, and anything that they can't attain NOW, is considered UNATTAINABLE.

Dems got within striking distance of the first real liberal candidate in decades in 2016. You should see that as a sign of hope for the party, not as a sign that it's time to quit voting and let repubs run the country.

Everybody knows the USSR averaged 25 knife murders a day, and 50 knife suicides a day.

That's what made their empire so evil.

Here in America we do our murders and suicides the freedom-loving way, with guns.

Properly viewed, each murder and suicide is a testament to our freedom and the higher standard of living capitalism affords. We don't have to kill each other or ourselves with cheap dull knives. So undignified. Guns are much more civilized.
