It's no coincidence that this all started on the eve of Bolton's first day on the job.

This is how the MIC werks when a neocon has the joystick.

Good luck with that, comrade. (used in the truest, as opposed to the DRLeft, sense of the term.)

Waging war is a "dangerous thing" for the US who live in a "completely different world" to Russia, whose Navy has "no fear", he said on Friday.

Still waiting in those "consequences".

I found it interesting how this Commander thinks the American Navy is afraid of them.

I believe it was an American that said, " Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!"

The Admirals and Generals who are so brave while making threats like that aren't the one's who suffer and die when war actually happens. Russian sailors fear death just as much as Americans do.

"I have not yet begun to fight!"

I wonder if Israel will strafe a ship in the Med so we can claim it was the Russians.

A torpedo attack could cause "considerable damage" to USS Donald Cook, a guided missile destroyer operating near Syria, Vladimir Masorin, former commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, has said.

Wow. You people get excited to easily....

He does not represent the Russian navy or Russian anything. Whatever comes out of his mouth is not automatic Russian policy.

Masorin commanded the Caspian Flotilla between 1996 and 2002....

Relax. LOL

Nobody is torpedoing anyone.

DONNERBUOY either didn't read his own linked article or he likes to alarm with fake headlines.

Russian Admiral vs FORMER Russian Admiral....

And Admiral of the Caspian Sea Fleet... basically small boats that operate in shallow muddy waters of a lake. Not a "blue water" force like Pacific Command, for example.

The Admiral of the small boats could still cause great harm to the big ships and start WWIII just because Putin's nation is basically broke and he can't please his population with money and food so instead he can try to make them feel powerful by humbling the U.S. which is something that they simply don't have the power to do without the use of nukes.
Truth, Russia is broke. The drop in oil prices made them so. Putin has a limited amount of time to focus his population's anger before it turns to him. Russia's presence in Syria was originally to defend their Navy base there, it has changed. Now it is direct confrontation with the U.S. Why? Because it is either confrontation with a military he can't even hope to defeat or to confront his own population who are beginning to question the body bags coming home from Ukraine, their empty pockets and the lack of any plan for the future.

For the last time.... he is retired.

He can't torpedo a cockroach.

He isn't in command of anything, we know that, but he can be the mouthpiece of those who are. Putin will be responding to the missile attacks yesterday. If he didn't he would lose too much respect among his own countrymen and the Republicans here in the U.S. that idolize him. It would ruin his desire to play James Bond in the next movie.

I wonder if he will release the "Pee Tape"?

#14 oddly enough that would probably be the most assured path to WWIII.

Trump would be humiliated, which means he blow more gaskets than Stormy has in her lifetime.

Trump would be humiliated...

Not possible. He is immune.

No, I think that that is the one emotion he feels very acutely.

And is the most likely to get a reaction from him.
