Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, April 12, 2018

Top lawmakers on Capitol Hill said they won't vote on authorizing retaliatory U.S. military strikes against Syria over a purported chemical-weapons attack, sidestepping a longstanding and messy debate about what role Congress should play in foreign policy. A number of members in both parties said President Donald Trump possesses the authority to conduct limited, surgical strikes against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in response to the Saturday attack that killed dozens of civilians.

Just another average day in Congress when it comes to exercising control over their war powers responsibility.

They're probably tired of trying to do something and see Donnie just tell Vlad ahead of time.

So when a black president asks a republican congress if he can bomb syria, they say - NO.

When a white president wants to do the same thing they say - YOU DO YOU. NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. WE TRUST YOU.

As I said earlier, it was embarrassing to Obama to try to have standards, so the GOP has decided not to have standards.

Use your chemical weapons, America doesn't care any more.

It's bi-partisan. It's in the article.

"A number of members in both parties said President Donald Trump possesses the authority to conduct limited, surgical strikes against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in response to the Saturday attack that killed dozens of civilians."
