Hours after his boss, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, was ousted Steve Goldstein, the under secretary of Public Affairs at the State Department has been fired by the White House. Goldstein publicly contradicted the White House account of how Tillerson was fired on Tuesday morning. Goldstein said Tillerson was officially notified he'd been fired from a tweet from President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning, and in a statement, said Tillerson had "every intention of remaining."

So within 24 hours, Trump's personal assistant, his secretary of state, and the undersecretary of state are all canned.

No chaos. No chaos. You're the chaos.

They might have started out alarmed, but now the GOP is quite happy and well-adjusted to the new normal:

The Chaos Candidate Becomes The Chaos President

Donald Trump's White House starts off with a first week that alarms even Republicans.

Of course he was fired, the time difference is a huge deal. They're trying to say he was fired Friday so they can deny he was fired over his remarks about the Russian poisoning.

Tillerson and now Goldstein better be careful, Putin can put a hit team out on them too. Ain't nobody safe who is connected to the administration at all, Putin ain't letting his pet President go down, it's probably the most important political espionage coup in history, Puting won't let something like that slip through his fingers.

Trump is the worst human being we have ever allowed into the office of the Presidency. Shame on all of you who still defend him.

I'm no Super-Genius businessman like the Dotard, but I'm pretty sure high turnover is a sure sign of bad management. At this point, Popeye's has a more stable workforce.

Trump installs former ‘Fox and Friends' host as under secretary of state

Heather Nauert will replace Steve Goldstein, who contradicted the White House's account of Tillerson's firing.

The White House then confirmed State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert as acting under secretary for public diplomacy, with a White House official telling Axios, "Heather is the only one at State we trust."

Nauert joined the State Department in April 2017 and has no previous diplomatic experience. When asked in February about the specifics of what the State Department was doing to end the violence in Syria, she responded, "I don't know what some of you expect us to do."

Prior to her job at State, Nauert was an anchor at Fox and Friends for five years, and previously worked at the New York Fox affiliate Fox 5 for most of her career.

Because she's incredibly talented.
