One of the world's richest troves of Triassic-period fossils has been discovered in an area of Bears Ears National Monument that just lost its protected status, scientists announced Thursday. President Trump signed a proclamation in December that shrank the national monument by 85 percent.

News for y'all, most fossils are recovered from private lands. Those things have been there for 60,000,000 years. I doubt they are going anywhere.

#3 | Posted by Sniper The point is it is illegal to dig on any national monument unless you go through a enormous amount of paperwork that generally takes years.
