Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, February 14, 2018

The White House is refusing to discuss the immigration status of first lady Melania Trump's parents. The Washington Post reported that the first lady's spokeswoman initially declined to comment on the matter. "I don't comment on her parents, as they live private lives and are not part of the administration," said Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for the first lady, according to the Post. A White House official also declined to comment when asked if the first lady's parents came to the U.S. via so-called "chain migration," which the president has frequently criticized. "I'm not going to get into specific cases," the official told reporters Wednesday.

Why should they? Legal migrants can bring just about anyone they want. Isn't that what 'chain immigration' is?

If Melania lied about working as a model on a tourist visa she was an illegal immigrant. Her citizenship is in question.
In the interest of transparency we need to see her long form immigration documents, and her parents.

No it is not.

Do you really believe everything Trump says? You do know he lies on average 3-4 times a day right?

Don't you ever bother to check out his statements for yourself? Weak! Low energy! SAD!

You are wrong hands. All they have to do is claim some distant relative. I guess you aren't aware of the fact that chain migration is responsible for about 70% of our legal migrants.

Here are the facts.

The Family-Chain categories are divided into four separate preferences:
1st Preference: Unmarried sons/daughters of U.S. citizens and their children (capped at 23,400/year)
2nd Preference: Spouses, children, and unmarried sons/daughters of green card holders (capped at 114,000/year)
3rd Preference: Married sons/daughters of U.S. citizens and their spouses and children (capped at 23,400/year)
4th Preference: Brothers/sisters of U.S. citizens (at least 21 years of age) and their spouses and children (capped at (65,000/year)

Once the Original Immigrant and his/her spouse becomes a U.S. citizen, they can petition for their parents, adult sons/daughters and their spouses and children, and their adult siblings.

No mention of "distant" relatives.

In their defense, I am fine with it. Her personal immigration is questionable though.

As for the highlight on his Communist party membership. I get it is a deliberate irritant for the GOP but in reality it was required of ANYONE who wanted to work in a descent job. It actually didn't make you a "communist" though. My wife's father was an engineer, in order to become an engineer he had to join the party. They still lived in fear of the party. Everyone had a file with the secret police and there were a LOT of narks - priests, friends, relatives, etc - you never knew who you could trust.

Speaking of the party; o'bummers head of the cia.

During a panel discussion Thursday at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual conference, CIA Director John Brennan (shown) was trying to make the point that just because an individual has an "activist" background, that wouldn't, or shouldn't, keep him from working for the federal government in sensitive positions. After all, he said, the CIA hired him even after he admitted voting for a communist in the 1976 presidential elections.

So says the person who is so stupid he believes that someone with an IQ of 45 is smart.

Totally expected this type of reaction to the Dems finding out there is proof they did illegal things during an election. Reps would do the exact same thing. Just find something that the other side can be blamed for and ignore the main issue. Both sides are so transparent yet neither side will accept it.

Melania Trump's parents? I seriously doubt they are requiring any public assistance, therefore I could care less. Obama's immigrant family members here can not say the same.

Here is an idea.

If you live in a glass house don't throw stones.

Trump lives in a glass tower and he is hurling boulders at anything and everything he hates or that riles his Deplorables.

No one cares if a Deplorable is hypocrite( we already know that anyway)

But, when Trump is a hypocrite the whole world can gets to watch and point at the idiot breaking his own windows.
