Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime personal lawyer, said Tuesday he personally made a payment of $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement before the 2016 election. Cohen said in a statement that neither "the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was party to the transaction," and added that he was not reimbursed for the payment "either directly or indirectly." "I am Mr. Trump's longtime special counsel and I have proudly served in that role for more than a decade. In a private transaction in 2016, I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford," Cohen said.

This is at least the second lawyer that he, not Trump, did a potentially damaging action. In December another lawyer claimed he had actually wrote the below tweet that appeared to show obstruction of justice.

So, since he admits Stormy got the money, we can accept that she and Donald had the sex she was paid not to talk about?

Well then it is an in-kind donation. I believe those are still subject to the donation limit.

Trump Lawyer Paid Stormy Daniels With His Own Money

If a porn actress can blackmail Trump so easily then then who knows what dirt Russia has on him. There's too much circumstantial evidence to continue to trust him in the White House. He's compromised. Congress should immediately remove him from office.

With his own money?
Why?

Trump denied that he porked Stormy.

Cohen says he paid Stormy to STFU about being porked by the Dotard.

Trump denied he assaulted the more than a dozen women who have accused him of sexual assault.

Do you still believe his denial that the porked the pornly film star?

If you answered yes, you are really working at being a fool.

If you answer no, that you dont believe him now that his personal lawyer admits paying off porkee, do you feel more inclined to believe that the more than a dozen women who have come forward to testify against him?

It cam be assumed that the Liar-in-thief has been dishonest all along about the women who have accused him.

How can you believe him when he tells you he didnt do it when you know he's been a liar all his life?

_"he was not reimbursed for the payment "either directly or indirectly."_

Oddly, this actually gives it a tinge of credibility, considering Trump's history of not paying his debts.

From the article, right at the top of this page:

Could it be that the NDA and the $130,000.00 payment was to ensure Stormy didn't talk about the weather?

Stay tuned for more details...

Ok, Hans, are you joining OWS in claiming that 'Cohen says he paid Stormy to STFU about being porked by the Dotard'? Are you claiming that there is no other possible 'dirty-laundry' other than her having sex with Trump that this person could have that would make his lawyer feel it was worthwhile to buy her silence? Even if you KNOW that this NDA was to suppress discussion of an affair between the two, do you agree with OWS statement that Trump's Lawyers SAID that it was? Let's see those details, Hans.

Your reading skills are as faulty as ever. I specifically stated another possible alternative for the NDA and accompanying $130,000.00 payment:

"Could it be that the NDA and the $130,000.00 payment was to ensure Stormy didn't talk about the weather?" - #13 | Posted by Hans at 2018-02-14 10:09 AM
Because, after all, following the disclosure of the Access Hollywood tape, why on Earth would Trump, er, Michael Cohen, be concerned about yet another sex scandal erupting just before Election Day?

Or, perhaps you believe that "other possible 'dirty-laundry'" might just be skid marks on Trump's tighty whities.

Yeah! That's believable: An NDA and accompanying $130,000.00 payment to make sure Stormy didn't talk about skid marks on Trump's tighty whities. That would certainly be the death of any political campaign! /s

I'd imagine the IRS will want to see if--

a) it was expensed against Cohen's business, or
b) if Cohen properly paid Gift Taxes.

Regardless, Cohen's claim doesn't pass the smell test.

Yup.

But, I am usually imagining two or three at once.

On a yacht.

At Tahiti.

Breaking Trump Porn News! Not Fake!!

"An adult film star who has been embroiled in allegations of an affair with President Donald Trump is free to tell her story, her manager has said.

Stormy Daniels is no longer bound by a non-disclosure contract after Mr Trump's lawyer admitted he paid her, manager Gina Rodriguez says.

Mr Trump's personal lawyer confirmed in a statement to media he privately paid Ms Daniels $130,000 (£95,000) in 2016.

Ms Rodriguez says that acknowledgement allows her client to speak freely.

"Everything is off now, and Stormy is going to tell her story," Ms Rodriguez told the Associated Press on Wednesday."

I liked on CNN last night, Don Lemon kept saying "...pornstar -- but she really isn't a star, that sounds too glamorous, this is just a woman that has sex on tape for money. Not a star -- ...."

And hey -- she got paid so unless she filmed the encounter, this means Cohen and trump made her into a prostitute.

That means trump broke the law.

"Follow the money"

You can follow the money straight to a private Delaware LLC shell company called Essential Consultants set up by Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, for only one purpose ~ a check in the amount of $130,000.

And then he became a Republican. He's trying to make up for his sorry, sordid past. And now liberals hate him.
