His article seems to have been found acceptable till he voiced unconventional views at which point it was erased from existence.

Supporting Creationism/intelligent design isn't the same as supporting "unconventional views".

It's pseudo-science. Period.

That being said, I'm not sure why that would require his Wiki page be deleted considering he had made contributions to his field for years before voicing his support for ID.

Any scientist who "comes out" against evolution deserves to lose their Wikipedia page, at a minimum.
It's literally the best theory science has ever crafted.
Unless you count thermodynamics! Once a physics major always a physics major....

What's your odd idea Zed?

Snoofy wikipedia has bios on serial killers.

So what? Serial killers are real. Fake science is fake.

I think there's a lot of things that we as humans just don't know. I also think ID sounds stupid when it's applied as the old Anglo man with the white beard in the sky did it. Things like consciousness, the body's ability to heal it's self, the ability to learn, adapt etc.... have always made me wonder about intelligent design. maybe god is nothing like we've been indoctrinated to believe. No gender, no body, just perfect consciousness.

I'm just rambling but there's a lot more to human history and this planet's history than we know. I don't want to be closed minded and possibly miss something. I usually listen to just about anyone until they go "flat earth" on me or something absurd.

Check out Damon T. Berry on YouTube. I don't agree with everything he says but the guy will have your wheels turning if you have an ounce of openness in you.

Snooty Scientists are real even if we don't agree with their views.

I think Dawkins is an insane/evil turd but I don't want his article deleted.

There's a big difference between "snooty scientist" and "not science."

#10 | Posted by snoofy at 2018-02-05 07:17 PM | Reply

Snoofy the guy has a PHD from a respectable University in fossil something and multiple species named after him.

It really does look like his article was deleted simply because he's some sort of a creationist.

#11 I don't know enough about who gets a Wikipedia page and who gets their page deleted to comment on that.

It would suck to have your page deleted just because you were a scientist who went political with pseudoscience, but I'm not sure it sucks more than ID.

I see the phrase intelligent design and I suspect someone is a young earth creationist or a dangerous shill.

What concerns me is that this is part of a larger pattern I've seen on wikipedia with ax grindering anti-theists being dishonest and organized.

I encourage that language - to determine if there is a passion for comprehension or just confirmation of some religious programming. It's been disappointing so far.

As for missing scientists, I believe there was a lengthy Rense list of bioweapons-related academics found in various states of disassembly. I gave it mind at the time because of the extermination of select groups from the military, clarifying how the entire chemtrails project is a deadly secret replete with traps.
