Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, February 05, 2018

The House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes admitted on Friday that he did not view the underlying intelligence on which he based a memo that accuses the FBI and the Justice Department of improperly surveilling Trump associates during the 2016 election. "Did you read the actual FISA applications," [Fox News anchor Bret] Baier asked, referring to the documents that the memo cites in part as evidence of improper conduct by US law-enforcement officials. "No, I didn't" Nunes said.

Of course not. It would contradict what he wanted to say. Like the truth does.

Besides, the white house wrote the memo, not Nunes.

Don't be ignorant.

Gowdy read the FISA and wrote the memo with Nunes.

The FBI/DoJ would only allow one person to read the actual FISA.

Educate yourself.

"Educate yourself."

I would say that Mr. Nunes should have done so before using political power to weaken the FBI and DOJ.

You ask others to educate themselves, but don't ask the same of the elected officials.

That's very telling.

The question we should be asking is how many other Citizens of the United States of America were *spied* on using made up pretense?

How is this different from the police who plant drugs or guns on people they arrest?

This corruption needs to be fully exposed and rooted out of all these organizations.

#2 and Gowdy said the memo was a giant pile of nothing.

So what's that say about the whole premise of the "scandal" that right wing news was hyping as earth shattering the past several weeks? That the lawyer involved who's most informed says it's inconsequential?

#4 same goes for Russian bot and fake accounts and Russian supporters, right comrade?

#4 - There is a regulatory process in place. It should be used properly.

If it is not sufficient, then it's wrong for politicians to make themselves a special case. They should make a process that serves all Americans. You and I can't look at the secret documents and release a memo for the entire world to read.

It's not right what they're doing. It's special interests protecting the powerful. They would never fathom taking actions to protect citizens.

Sawdust saying "educate yourself." Now that there is funny, I don't care who you are.

Sounds like you are talking about what the memo is saying.

So instead of saying the memo is crap and is unsubstantiated why don't you just wait for the back up info to show up. I mean like the transparacy that Obama promised.

This is a trend of conservatives on social media lately. They often say "educate yourself", yet they rarely cite any substantial or accurate information with with to do so.

You want to send a link to that, and not the one where it gets cut off after he says it doesn't have an impact on the Russia probe.

Wow, got 10 whole posts in before the first Obama deflection!

WTG Fishypaw. This reminds me of scenes where the villain always empties his gun on Superman, then throws the empty gun at him.

Nunes: I didn't read the FISA applications.

Neither did Trump. So now they both look like damn fools, which isn't a very long walk from the last scam they tried to pull.

What has become clear with all this "transparency" is that the Republicans and the Russians always seem to have the same agenda and apparently you and your cohorts are all ok with that.

Just one more till the Strike Out, Fishy.

Feel free to comment on the ridiculous laziness and incompetent failure of Devin ("I am totally recused!!!) Nunez to research the "HOT MEMO THAT WILL EXONERATE TRUMP or start a thread on something else, Stink.
