Douglas Haig, who sold ammunition to the gunman in October's Las Vegas massacre, was arrested Friday on charges of manufacturing and selling armor-piercing bullets in violation of federal law. A criminal complaint says two unfired .308-caliber rounds found in gunman Stephen Paddock's room had Douglas Haig's fingerprints on them and tool marks from Haig's workshop. The bullets in the cartridges were classified as armor-piercing, the complaint says.

Police say Paddock opened fire on October 1 from his room at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay hotel onto a crowd attending a music festival, killing 58 people and shooting and injuring 422 others. More than 850 others suffered other injuries in the attack.

Haig, 55 appeared in court Friday and was released on this own recognizance with specific conditions that were not spelled out in court proceedings. He is due in court again February 15 for a preliminary hearing."

This is an example of "enforcing laws on the books" like you right-wingers always demand.

Did it stop any shootings?

LOL!

Heard this guy talk. Does the unnecessary-over-recitation-of-random-facts-as-meaningful-conversation-combined-with-excessive-
definition-wordsmithing thing that I see so often in reference to weapons.

Sorry, but no mercy should be given to this enabler of murder. Prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law and give him the most severe sentence the law allows. He is scum. If he had a brain he would have offed himself before they got there to arrest him. Selling tracer bullets? Really?

Tracers aren't illegal.

Manufacturing AP ammo and selling it is.

I have a memo that totally vindicates Haig and Paddock that I will be releasing soon.

The memo proves one of the investigators was overheard saying he didn't like Paddock after seeing the dead bodies.
This is outrageous evidence of bias and proves this whole investigation is a witch hunt. They also offered no proof Haig sold AP ammo, he might have just given ammo as a gift. The police are trying to bring down Haig who is just trying to Make America Safe Again.

Shut down this investigation, give Haig a medal and big settlement and investigate the investigators.

Can you have an incendiary armor piercing round?

I was always under the impression that armor piercing required a hardened penetrator tip and core which would preclude it from being incendiary.

The Trump-is-a-dictator crowd is an emerging market, but won't be a solid sales avenue unless Trump wins again.

"The Trump-is-a-dictator crowd is an emerging market"

There is not Trump-is-a-dictator crowd, there is though the Trump-wants-to-be-a-dictator crowd and I'm part of it.
