Glenn Kessler and Meg Kelly, Fact Checker: President Trump has broken 2,000. With just 10 days before he finishes his first year as president, Trump has made 2,001 false or misleading claims in 355 days, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president. That's an average of more than 5.6 claims a day. When we started this project, originally aimed at the president's first 100 days, he averaged 4.9 claims a day. At that pace, it appeared unlikely the president would break 2,000 in a year. But the longer the president has been in the job, the more frequently he touts an assortment of exaggerated, dubious or false claims.

No I didn't. This is fake news. Meanwhile: Hillary, Muslims, Obama, Beautiful Wall, NAFTA, Rocket Man, Little Bob/Mario/Mitch, Big Luther and who is Roy Moore?

"Our country's libel laws are a sham and a disgrace, and do not reflect American values of fairness," Trump said at a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, saying the issue was on his administration's 2018 agenda. "What the American people want to see is fairness."

It's not fair! No one should be able to lie but Trump!

I am guessing somebody doesn't know how to count. That number seems low to me.

At least all of his stupidity involves things that don't impact us directly, like telling us we can keep our doctor and then finding out we can't. But hey, let's be typical Americans and care more about reality show drama than what will actually effect us.

Someone is being too nice. That's only 5.479 lies per day.

Big lie. Millions of us did keep our doctors. I still have the same doctor today that I had before Obama was even elected. Since before Bush was elected.

Obama didn't take your doctor. Your insurance company did. And you are stupid enough to want to give them even more control over what they can do to you.

You are truly one of the dumbest posters on the DR.

And now Trump blamed the embassy move on Obama while it was Bush who struck the deal in England. He also forgot that the US didn't own the land the embassy was on.

How stupid are Republicans?
