Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, January 10, 2018

Andrew Marantz, New Yorker: Professing shock at Fox News' sophistry is hardly a hot take. But shilling for [Donald] Trump, who has no discernible ethos beyond self-regard, is something new, requiring Baryshnikovian levels of ideological flexibility. Obama was easy -- the Fox & Friends co-hosts simply denounced everything about him, from his terrorist fist-jabs to his choice of paper clips. The Bush Administration was mendacious, but at least it was predictable -- the co-hosts had to work hard to build a connection between 9/11 and Iraq, but they didn't have to worry that they'd wake up one morning to find that the Administration was now blaming the attack on Sudan. These days, hosting Fox & Friends is like cheerleading for a player who misses an open shot on goal, then doubles back to score on his own goalie, then storms off in a fit of petulance, complaining that the ref is a loser.

It's "The New Yorker," I know I should read it, it's probably very accurate and, actually, I did read some of it. But the discussion of the "Fox and Friends" celebs was too nauseating, I couldnt go on. Those pukes make me want to vomit.

Why don't you guys just not watch it? And let me guess, Morning Joe is non-biased? These writers write these stories like it's earth shattering news and you drool over it, that's why they write it.

Because idiots like you watch it and take it as gospel then vote these idiots in thereby screwing the country.

How is that so hard to understand?

And no, Morning Joe doesn't spoon feed you lies minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day.

So Trump has shills? As I remember Hillery had many more. That didn't help her win. The public has realized long ago that all media carries water for someone.

Wait...I think I saw the same Mad Lib on CNN when Obama was President. This "fill in the blank" journalism has got to end someday, for the sanity of every person alive.

#5 Fox is full of crap, MSNBC is full of crap. If you can't figure out for yourself what is what you shouldn't vote, so saying Morning Joe is not impartial means you shouldn't vote. And btw, I ask this all the time to Fox haters, if you will never watch it because it is so full of lies how do you know so much about it?

We watch Fox so you don't have to!
You're welcome.

BTW, did you ever figure out how to read dates?

I'll answer my question to you in #8 for you. "because MSNBC told me so."

I already answered it in my #9.

Why, there's a link there and everything!

Obviously, and just like IQ45, reading is not your thing.

So?

You don't fight fire with fire.

You fight fire with water.

Which is exactly what NewsHounds does.

You don't remember that. It's a figment of your imagination. The MSM covered the server issue way passed death. Same thing with the Clinton Foundation. Despite no real wrongdoing, it came up again and again while Trump got a virtual pass on his passed litigation and charitable foundation doing literally exactly what Conservatives falsely accused Clinton of doing.

Reading comprehension has never been your strong suit. Lets face it, most of us question how literate you are for reasons like this.

No one said Morning Joe was impartial. Ironically Joe was a Republican until recently. But he doesn't spoon feed us lies like Fox does. Frankly, I prefer CNN and Reuters.

Also, I tune into Fox all the time.

By the way, shutting up is a good look for you. You should try it sometime. You wouldn't look ridiculous in your posts.

Trump is full of crap.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised himself over a Tuesday meeting with Democrats on immigration reform.

According to the president, the 55-minute televised meeting with Democrats had "great ratings" and the news media sent him notes to compliment his performance. "Actually, it was reported as incredibly good and my performance -- some of them called it a performance, I consider it work -- but it got great reviews by everybody other than two networks who were phenomenal for about two hours."

"And then after that, they were called by their bosses and said, ‘Oh, wait a minute,'" the president continued. "Unfortunately, a lot of those anchors sent us letters saying that was one of the greatest meetings they've ever witnessed. And they were great for about two hours. They were phenomenal."

Trump added: "They probably wish they didn't send us those letters of congratulations but it was good. I'm sure the ratings were fantastic. They always are."

RawStory

Great reviews? One of the greatest meetings ever? Letters of congratulations? What a narcissist.

If the Clinton Foundation is so clean and never gave preferential treatment to it's donors why have their contributions dried up?

This will surprise people, but primary sources can be found online. You don't need the "news" version to pass judgement on an individual's speech for instance.
