Thirty-two people are missing after an oil tanker and a cargo ship collided off China's east coast on Saturday evening. The Sanchi tanker, a Panama-registered vessel carrying 136,000 tonnes of Iranian oil, caught fire after the crash.

Don't these vessels have radar? I know even catamarans and sailboats routinely have radar systems that scan the sea out to 2 miles.
