Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Handwritten notes from Reince Priebus support James Comey's claims about Donald Trump, The New York Times is reporting. The notes are reported to document that Trump called Priebus to discuss how he pressured the former FBI Director to publicly state that Trump was not under investigation. The report also makes several other claims that may be relevant to an obstruction of Justice investigation. Trump had McGahn pressure Jeff Sessions to not recuse himself from the investigation. One attorney in McGhan's office misled Trump on whether he could fire Comey because he believed doing so would force the DoJ to investigate possible obstruction -- Mueller is investigating Trump Jr's initial denial of the meeting at Trump Tower with Russians to "get dirt" on Clinton that was written by Trump. White House lawyers believed the denial to be "an explicit attempt to throw sand into the investigation's gears". A Trump spokesman quit because he believed it was obstruction of justice.

Facts are the basis for Fake News. Fake News will negate the effect of these facts. Fox and hate radio will convince the idiots among us, who we have to deal with everyday, that none of this is true and that it is all a conspiracy by the left wing media. Never mind that the MSM is anything close to left wing, realize that net neutrality was an incredibly important issue to left wingers because it was about FREEDOM of expression! The right wingers are too stupid to even understand why we objected to the FCC and Ajit Pai's sold out decision to give the freedom of the internet to the companies that provide service. Biggest sell out of freedom in my lifetime and some are too stupid to even object to it. We should be rioting in the streets right now! They are trying to turn us into the compliant subhumans that they have turned the Chinese into. Realize one thing; when the oligarchs see another country subjugating their populations, our oligarchs are going to try to do the exact same thing. Ending net neutralitiy effectively does that by limiting the expression of government opposition as is done, everyday, in China, Russia, and many other dictatorships. Do we, as Americans, want to have an important method of communication controlled by big brother? I don't think so but our President seems ok with it, our FCC is dominated by Republicans who are want this control. Are we so weak, as Americans, that we will do nothing about this?

We can still fight back, Congress has the power to completely reverse Ajit Pai's paid for decision. Tell these sold out pieces of crap that we don't accept their sell out. Call your congressman, tell them that internet

Alongside internet users everywhere we beat back attempts to limit our basic rights and freedoms, and empower people to demand technology (and policy) that serves their interests. Activating the internet for the public good can only lead to a more vibrant and awesome world. More coming soon."

"The FCC just voted to gut net neutrality rules, letting Internet providers like Verizon and Comcast control what we can see and do online with new fees, throttling, and censorship. But we can still get Congress to stop this -- by passing a "Resolution of Disapproval" to overturn the FCC vote. We can win. Write and call Congress now!"

OK sheep, stand up or be sheep. We are people, in case you have forgotten. Stand up to Ajit Pai and the forces of evil, call, write, email your Congress person to support the REsoulution which will negate the decisions of the FCC and Ajit (Piece of sold out crap) Pai.

BTW, under the new FCC rules about net neutrality, I probably could not even express the opinion I just expressed without being censored.

#2 C'mon Danni, you use to cite Air America as the #1 trusted source. If you don't like a certain station just turn it off. It's pretty simple. And btw you are taking sides with the likes of Google which last I knew was a mega corp which you also hate.

Riddle me this Trumpkins:

Why would Trump be so desperate to obstruct the investigation of flynn?

Com'on TOR. We all know the answer to that question. What's important is, so does Robert Mueller.

Yeah Fish, the Air America station here in S. Florida was bought by conservatives and turned into an unnecessary sports station which never got the same ratings as the previous progressive station go. The owners didn't care, they just wanted to silence Air America, which they could because they had enough money to do so.
My big complaint is with progressive billionaires who haven't as yet invested in a network of stations to compete with right wing hate radio and TV. Til they do liberals will have a hard time having their message heard. Until it is actually heard by the majority the right has an advantage which is shrinking due to demographics.

Then they need to start saying it aloud.

If this were the 1980's I would agree. But today you can get any station in the US over the internet.

The issue is that right wing billionaires are willing to pump $100,000,000 into a losing radio network because they will pressure their congresscritters to cut their taxes by the 100 fold.

That's true, I do it every day. Good point.

He can't hide forever.

Don't tell me: Reince Priebus is a RINO. He's a Democratic plant. He's part of the Deep State. He's in cahoots with Crooked Hillary, Ellen Degeneres, Rosie and Oprah. He was a coffee boy only. He was a minor player. Nobody even remembers him. He's a born liar. He's not to be trusted.

Same goes for the Fake News Media, the Democrats, the Republicans, James Comey, Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, Sloppy Steve Bannon, Michael Wolff, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, the Justice Department, the American system of jurisprudence, immigrants, women, Doug Jones, Roy Moore, that other guy, the White House housekeeping crew, barbers, or people who have food or breathe air. They're all in on it.

Not everyone can. But anyone with a radio can tune in to right-wing hate radio propaganda on several stations no matter where they live in the US. You can't even listen to liberal talk in San Francisco, but you get Michael Savage every. day.

I don't care for either wing's radio or TV. I prefer news to be news. Talking heads selling their truly fake views are the main reason for all the problem with this country's politics today.

Let people make up their own minds. What we really need are some laws on the books to shut down political "entertainers"/pundits who make things up and spread outright lies period. I don't care which side they are on. Put them in court defending their lies to Americans. You can be both a political entertainer and pundit without lying. You can be hugely biased without lying. But the kind of stuff coming from in particular the right wing loons has to stop.

As much as I find hate radio and Fox News distasteful (and sometimes MSNBC too), I don't want laws on the books to shut down speech. That sounds un-American.

PETE

I watch FOX to see what they're saying. Then I watch MSNBC to see what FOX left out.

That seems to be a better solution than trying to change the Constitution.

I'd rather see campaign propaganda held to a higher standard.
