Lawyers on behalf of President Donald Trump sent a letter Wednesday night to former White House Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon demanding he refrain from making disparaging comments against the president and his family. Trump attorney Charles J. Harder of the firm Harder Mirell & Abrams LLP, said in a statement, "This law firm represents President Donald J. Trump and Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. On behalf of our clients, legal notice was issued today to Stephen K. Bannon, that his actions of communicating with author Michael Wolff regarding an upcoming book give rise to numerous legal claims including defamation by libel and slander, and breach of his written confidentiality and non-disparagement agreement with our clients. Legal action is imminent."

In the letter to Bannon, Harder, writes, "You [Bannon] have breached the Agreement by, among other things, communicating with author Michael Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members, and the Company, disclosing Confidential Information to Mr. Wolff, and making disparaging statements and in some cases outright defamatory statements to Mr. Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members, and the Company, knowing that they would be included in Mr. Wolff's book and publicity surrounding the marketing and sale of his book."

During the campaign, then-candidate Trump had all campaign staff sign a non-disclosure agreement which required all staff, according to campaign sources, to refrain from any disparaging comments against the candidate, his family or the Trump campaign and organization.

Meanwhile the United States could be invaded and occupied by a foreign power but the President would be too focused on his personal ego problems to notice. This thing is getting beyond a joke and beginning to look like we have a lunatic in the WH.

Bannon threw out the "i" (insane) word yesterday so I consider that the opening salvo.

This morning Joe Scarborough had a long session on Trump and dementia.

So the ball has started to roll.

I'm waiting for the "c" (cocaine) word to come up.

Pundits are getting very brave now that Bannon has opened the door. We've been saying those same things for months.

"Pundits are getting very brave now that Bannon has opened the door."

Soe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski could rightly be blamed for the Trump Presidency. They had him on their show all the time and Mika was like a school girl talking to a rock star, it was sickening. I stopped watching them back then and that was at least a year before Trump ran for President . Pundits are brave now is an oxymoron.

It looks like full on war between Trump and Bannon. My money is on Bannon. I don't like him but he's tougher than the Donald.

Bannon believes in something. It's largely crap, but he has that going for him.

Maybe not DANNI. Robert and Rebekka Mercer were his primary financers but they've pulled their money out. Bannon just lost unlimited millions of dollars.

He has other backers but not to the extent the Mercer were giving him.

Also, DANNI

The Mercers are a major stockholder in Breitbart. They've pulled their financial support for Breitbart as well and have the authority and the power to demand Bannon's resignation.

So if you follow the money, it's the reason why is Bannon now out there making nice-nice public statements about his love of Donald Trump, calling him a "great man." Contradictory and disingenuous as Bannon's flip-flop may be, there's a very good reason behind it ~~ Mercers' money!

Guaranteed the loss of Rebekkah Mercer's billion dollar honey pot will have Bannon, Breitbart and Trump singing kum-ba-ya within a week.

Bannon will claim that he never saw the final draft of the book, Breitbart will start publishing sweet nothings to Trump and Trump will claim that Wolff was paid by Crooked Hillary because she lost the election and the DOJ needs to open an invetigation.

And Flynn will be the villan, left out there to swing in the breeze.
