The Swampers was the most heard but least known band ever. They were the studio backup band @ Fame Studios.

They played with some of the biggest artists of all times, and they played all different types of music with no degradation in quality.

There is a very good documentary on Netflix about Rick Hall, the Fame Studios and the Muscle shoals sound that attracted the artists. It's called Muscle Shoals.
