Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Five female U.S. senators called on fellow Democrat Al Franken to resign Wednesday following allegations, and his admission in at least one case, that he groped or sexually harassed women, Bloomberg News reports. Within minutes of each other, Senators Patty Murray of Washington, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire posted messages on Facebook and Twitter saying Franken of Minnesota must resign.

Have they also called on President Trump to resign? If not then they are being foolish. We need all our Democratic Senators to try to hold back the Republicans in their quest to kill the New Deal and Great Society. Nothing I have read about Franken would be serious enough to require resignation.

PC crowd out of control once again. Oh wait! it's a fellow Democrat! OK!

REMOVE HIM AT ONCE!

Announcement is coming tomorrow. He is stepping down.

And Conyers is out.

But don't worry! Both parties are still the same, right Sully?

According to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the reason the President doesn't have to step down and shouldn't be investigated is because he didn't admit to anything...recently...

It's funny that the Democrats are working to remove people with sexual assault accusations while the GOP is supporting a pedophile and has someone with numerous accusations of sexual assaults who self admitted as such as their leader.

I heard from friends of mine in Minneapolis that the Star Tribune is holding a story with accusations from another 4 women, including one who says he did something really creepy in a hotel room in St. Paul two years ago.

And yes, Trump should step down as well.

I doubt the Star would do that unless the sources were questionable.

Much as I hate to say this, I think this will go down as another example of the GOP playing to win.

While the Dems do the right thing and boot these guys, the GOP will elect Moore, support Trump and continue to hold onto the senate to our detriment.

Up to 22 dem senators and the DNC chair.

and Moore is up +2 according to RCP aggregate polling.

Yep. 20 years ago Bill and Monica had consensual sexual encounters.

So that excuses Moore molesting underaged girls and Trump's boasts about assulting women.

Aren't false equivalencies fun?

Well, that certainly would change things with regard to Franken, and perhaps the Democratic Senators got wind of those accusations and decided to push Franken out. It doesn't, however, change the fact that those supporting the #metoo movement should not be advocating always believing every accuser without question. I actually read on fb today someone saying Tawana Brawley was owed an apology because nobody believed her years ago. SMH This will not end well.

Pedobama. Where girls get molested and their predators get elected to the Senate.

I'm sure it makes all you conservatives jealous.

Moore will make a great roll model for the men of Pedobama.

Young girls will be raped in the streets. Their virgin blood spilling down their legs and their screams of torment will echo throughout the state.

I heard from friends of mine

Rumor mills and allegations.

That's all you've got.

Now, any man who so much as touched a woman, ever, can be accused of sexual harassment.

The whole Franken thing is a hit job and a distraction.

One is alleged? Which?

The underaged girl who was molested by Moore?

Or the relationship between Monica and Bill?
