Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

A new Harvard University poll Tuesday is blaring a loud danger signal to the Republican Party after finding that millennials are now the largest generation of voters and they are overwhelmingly Democratic, by a two-to-one margin. The latest youth poll from Harvard's influential Institute of Politics found that America's 18-29-year-olds prefer Democrats 65 percent to 33 percent, in part because they don't like President Trump and are "fearful" about the future.

"American political institutions are at a tipping point," said John Della Volpe, polling director at Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics. "Millennials are now the largest generation in the electorate. This poll and the Virginia election show that they are becoming more motivated -- and I believe the fear that exists today about our future will soon be turned into the fuel that will reform our government. The only question is whether this comes from inside or outside the traditional party structure."

This is our future...if you want to get Cheetolini out of the White House, we have to start at the grass roots level.

This year, get a Millennial or 10 to vote in the midterms.

They should listen to Ray and not vote because all is lost, the sky is falling, and it's hopeless.

The educated youth and minority demographics are going to make Trumpublicans an endangered species sooner rather than later. And the sooner the better.

Doesn't matter if they don't vote.

The entire electorate is the same ratio.

2/3 people are democratic.

1/3 people are undemocratic.

I'll leave you to guess which ones support trump and other pedophiles.

Can I vote while slavishly looking at and worshiping my smartphone? Who's running anyway? What for?

They're only the largest voting group if they actually VOTE.

If they sit around whining that no candidate is perfect and they're all the same, then they're not a voting group at all, they're republican enablers.

Studies show they are both more knowledgeable and more engaged than the older generation, especially Fox News viewers.

The last few special elections have shown they are turning out....mainly due to Trump. They hate him.

I learned for myself during the futile attempt to get Governor Walker (R-WI) recalled that Millennials will sign petitions, but they won't actually get off their butts to vote!

That was before Trump.

This is actually a great thing for the GOP. Instead of Millennials being able to blame their predecessors for causing all the problems, now they only have themselves to blame for voting in people who are no good. The more young people that vote, the more their choices shape this country. Of course, seeing as most of them are Liberals, they will still blame all their problems on others.

Too rich.

The Party of Personal Responsibility still hasn't taken responsibility for Dubya, his Operation Iraqi Liberation, his disastrous tax cuts, and the meltdown that followed.

My only hope for the Trump presidency is that it creates an entire generation of leftists who will never allow such a disgusting pig to be elected again in their lifetime. That every stupid thing he says and does is eventually reversed and that no "conservative" ever gains support again.

Joe, 17 on the state and Trump won. The Dems had 2.

Either case, the pools was toxic.
