Jared Kushner said Sunday he was optimistic he could negotiate a lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians despite increasing tension in the region over President Trump's reported plans to recognize Jerusalem the Israeli capital. In a rare public appearance at a forum of current and former American and Middle East officials, Kushner, the president's son-in-law and senior adviser, acknowledged the challenges that for years had thwarted the efforts of many longtime negotiators in the audience

Kushner's talk came just two days after Michael T. Flynn, the president's former national security adviser, pleaded guilty to lying to investigators about his contacts with Russia's ambassador during the post-election transition. Court papers indicated that he was directed to talk with the ambassador by a senior transition official who has been identified as Kushner.

Kushner's plan will work, as soon as Netanyahu kills enough Palestinians. This approach worked beautifully with Native Americans, whom we signed plenty of fake peace treaties with.

ZED

"Stress is getting to him."

Sweating bullets, no doubt, from an unknown location. I wonder if he's begging Trump for that pardon yet?

Sleepless nights, nervous twitches, panic attacks, loss of appetite, depression, crying jags, hopelessness ~~ these are not good signs.

Interesting problem for Trump. Any pardon to his inner circle is an admission of guilt and he can't have that. No pardon means he throws inner circle under the bus, and give those thrown every motivation to cooperate with Mueller.

The model is Flynn. What he thought of a Trump pardon is obvious by now.

Jared is 'optimistic there is hope'?!? WTF? It's certain that the parties on the ground in the Middle East see Pencilneck as far out of his depth. So long as BB runs Israel and Hezbollah has adherents, no committee of the lightweight, lead by a Jew sent from a Dotard will bring peace to this region of the world. No way...

Well he can't say that his father in law is an imbecile dangling a lit match over an open gas can with this Jerusalem stupidity.

Oh I'm sure it will work great after we move our embassy to Jerusalem and piss off the entire Middle East.

This is one thing that pisses both israelis and palestinians off. Goobers sitting in NY, trying to talk about stuff without knowing what is happening on the ground, without acknowledging the ancient traditions these people live by, or the ancient religious crap.

Anyone that wants to talk about peace should be forced to go live there for a year or two before they can speak of it. I lived there for 2 months and that was enough for me to see that there will be no peace on the government level. On the people level, there has always been peace.

These gilded creeps in NY also don't understand that that little spit of land israel sits on is a god forsaken place. How the hell can a place sit on the downwind edge of the mediterranean sea and have no rainfall?

It will work if only you liberals would just Believe.

If you just believe hard enough anything can become real.

Like tax cuts for the rich that will pay for themselves and that will tinkle down to the unwashed masses.
