One day, Sophia hopes to start a family, have a child, make friends, be famous and have a career. These all sound like hopes and dreams of a regular human being. Well, not really - these are the ambitions of a robot.

Do we now have a new candidate for affirmative action? Frak! We're screwing up.

I can totally see how in minutes we can download the entire human race knowledge into a robot in minutes, whereas it takes many years for an actual person to study and absorb. We're on a collision course.

Why would I want a fembot that talks too much, is opinionated, and has plans?

My buddy used to have some eligibility requirements for the girls he would date:

1) No job.
2) No car.
3) Minimal education.
4) Minimal English.
5) And Low self esteem.

He'd take 3 out of 4 for short term dating, but required 4 out of 5 for anything longer than a couple months.

Now he's married, with a kid, and miserable. And now that I think about it, his wife doesn't hit any of those eligibility requirements. What in the hell did she do to my buddy?
