Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, November 17, 2017

President Donald Trump responded to sexual misconduct allegations against Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) on Thursday, referring to a photo that surfaced from 2006 ... But as of Thursday, he has yet to comment on the mounting misconduct accusations against Alabama Senate GOP nominee Roy Moore, a week after the Washington Post reported the first allegations involving Moore, then in his 30s, targeting girls as young as 14. Republicans, especially right-wing media outlets, seized on the deluge of allegations last month against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, a prominent Democratic campaign donor. They have continually brought up sexual misconduct involving former President Bill Clinton, often when discussing former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. But Republicans have been less willing to denounce such behavior when it involves people on their end of the political spectrum, including Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, former Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, Moore and even Trump himself.

According to polling from HuffPost/YouGov conducted last month, 84 percent of Trump voters believe the allegations against Bill Clinton, and 74 percent believe those against Weinstein. Yet only 18 percent think those against O'Reilly are credible. Only 6 percent believe them about Trump.

We've got a fresh side order of hypocrisy here to go with our most delicious Nothingburgers being served with Sessions' special Mueller sauce!

Really? "Al Frankenstien"? How presidential from our resident Gropenfuhrer. Irony obviously escapes him. Or it's too hard to spell, one or the other....

The 2020 "debates" are going to be fabulous.

When the question comes up, in all 3 "debates", the Democratic nominee will have to explain why every democrat who has ever looked at a woman should be executed.

The gripper will say "you are fake news and I am being treated unfairly" and that will be that.

Coming from Trump?

Where do his hands go in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 while she sleeps? .....

If this doesn't show a mindset of a predator it will do until a better example can be found.

Most people, including Franken and the photographer, know that this was a one-off, wrongheaded attempt at humor at the expense of Tweeden, for which he's unambiguously apologized for. Who thinks about taking one photo and waxing it further into a more invasive and continuing sexual assault but for someone intimately familiar with the process themselves?

Trump should do himself a favor and just STFU. He is the last person who should talk about Al Franken, should we subpoena Howard Stern?

Trump is a partisan hack?

Damn, I didn't see that coming.

Trump is the ultimate hypocrite in politics -- and that wasn't an easy accomplishment. Every way in which a politician can be phony he manages to be phony.

Man, every week I think Trump cannot become any more scum and detestable, but every week he surprises me with a new low!
Thanks, #Trumpvoters!

"Donald Trump bragged in vulgar terms about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women during a 2005 conversation caught on a hot microphone, saying that "when you're a star, they let you do it," according to a video obtained by The Washington Post."

www.washingtonpost.com

There are people who can rightly criticize Al Franken, Donald Trump is simply not one of them. It speaks volumes about his fans that he can actually get away with his criticism of Franken without being laughed at by his own base.

Did you really notice that or is it just a thing that is unrelated to this story about Trump's tweet that you made up to try to distract from Conman Donnie's history of sexual harassment and assault? Because if you were actually following developments around Takai then I would figure you noticed that just a few days ago he was forced to apologize on social media after being called out by many gay and feminists over comments he made on the Howard Stern show in October.

Donald Trump walked in on a group of teenage girls while they were changing. And bragged about it.

I wouldn't think it would be too difficult for a hungry young journalist to gather all of Trumps accusers together for a full-blown expose.

The timing is perfect.

#20 It's out there but not making cable news or NYT, WaPo, or the NYer. Someone should put Ronan Farrow on the story:

In Post-Weinstein Era, Trump Sexual Assault Accusers Await His Downfall

One woman said it's "disturbing" that supporters still can't see the "president is just as guilty as Roy Moore."

Lordy lordy. I maybe ugly at the very least I have more common sense than she does. She makes a hot air balloon seem smart.

#23 There is inner and outer beauty. As far as I'm concerned Conway doesn't have either one.

Big difference between these is that one is acknowledged fact whereas the other is allegations. Of course I do believe there are many here who cannot distinguish between the two.

The big difference is that one was honest and the other is not.

Donald Trump is exactly what he seems to be.

Impeach.
