Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, November 17, 2017

One of Trump's judicial nominees is a ghost hunter who has written several novellas about paranormal activities. The appointment of Brett Talley, 36, for a lifetime post as an Alabama federal judge is raising eyebrows because he has never tried a case. It also emerged he failed to disclose on a conflict-of-interest questionnaire that his wife is a White House lawyer. But he did divulge his Tuscaloosa Paranormal Research Group membership. The Harvard-educated lawyer was unanimously deemed "not qualified" by the American Bar Association to serve an appointment on the US District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.

Considering OBAMA's 8 years of neglecting Ghosts this is long overdue
OBAMA Hated ghosts as much as he Hated America

A lying blogger ghost hunter whose never tried a case is nominated to lifetime position at age 36.

Thank you Trump voters. These are the type of retarded antics that will corrupt the legal establishment for the next 50 years.

That he's a ghost hunter isn't a problem.

That he's never tried a case and that his wife has a potential conflict of interest that he failed to disclose? That's worth talking about.

Let's be honest, the ghost hunting is a problem.
It's beyond stupid, and nobody that does it should be taken seriously.
Like reenactors, clowns, larpers, or SJWs.

I'd rather talk about the ghost hunting. It's much funnier.

Trump damn well knows that the GOP Congress is too spineless to do anything about either. Why? Because they're just as eager as Trump (or, more likely, his puppet masters) to force their world view on the rest of us through the judiciary.

They're fading relics desperately trying to cling to power by any means necessary.

Interesting that you invoke the judiciary considering it's been the vessel of left-wing power-creep for decades.

The judiciary is increasingly right wing with each passing year.

Really? Or will this be Faux News driven "judicial activism" type argument taken by the side that disagrees with any given legal argument?

This kind of mix up is understandable when Trump told Bannon he wanted a judge who could get rid of spooks.

Woo, digging deep on the racism for humor.

I like it.

I have yet to hear anyone explain why being a SJW is a bad thing. If you oppose SJWs doesn't that mean you are pro-injustice?

The people who look down on SJWs are not only resigned to the fact that the world isn't fair, They actually oppose trying to make it more fair

You only view it that way because they keep wiping your crackpot right wing unconstitutional laws off the books as quickly as you write them

Blocking unconstitutional right wing unconstitutional laws is not left wing creep. It is their sworn duty

What happened to all the right wingers on here talking about how they wanted a meritocracy?

Come on now. Tell us how this guy is the best of the best for this job. Tell us what he did to earn the position based on merit.

Hatter's strawman is in desperate need for adoption. Won't some "right winger" find it in their tiny, racist and greedy heart to bring this homunculus home and make it their own?

Also please pretend that you think ghost hunters save more lives than firemen because that will be funny.

Your resentment of the judiciary comes from the fact its the branch corporations have the hardest time capturing.

They're not left, they're just most corruption proof, which makes them seem left compared to the rest of the government.

As a proud resident of the state of Alabama, I will be the first to say that we (the USA) need to keep Alabamians from holding national offices. At a minimum, we need to vet them more seriously.

And I'm not worried about the dumb people. We have about the same percentage of dumb people as any other state. I'm worried about the smart ones, the ones that are smart enough to know how to manipulate the dumb ones. People such as Roy Moore and Jeff Sessions are not dumb. They are evil. Even worse, the want to turn the USA into a theocracy.
