Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Israeli and Palestinian officials expect President Trump to unveil a Mideast peace proposal by early next year. What nobody knows yet is the shape it will take or if the proposal will be based on creating a Palestinian state, which has been U.S. policy for the last 20 years. In the meantime, the two sides are on their best behavior to avoid being singled out by Trump as an obstructionist party. ... The U.S. "peace team" working on the issue is relatively small and very discreet -- just five people, including senior adviser Jared Kushner and special envoy Jason Greenblatt.

The entire process is being run out of the White House, with the State Department and other agencies providing advice and support. According to U.S. officials, Trump is the driving force on this issue and is personally involved. Israeli officials say they hear Trump is pushing his team to have a proposal soon.

In the last nine months Trump has met Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian President Abbas separately three times each to discuss his peace initiative. His special envoy Jason Greenblatt has been constantly shuttling between Jerusalem, Ramallah and Arab capitals.

We're saved. But seriously, if Trump can bring peace to the Mideast, I'm willing concede that he might just be the anti-Christ.

Your conviction will not be tempted. It is more likely that pee-wee herman will be elected pope than that trump will make a reasonable policy, unless he cuts and pastes and existing one. In fact, I would be willing to bet that he will try to destroy any hopes of a palestinian state.

I thought Kushner already had a plan?

I thought Kushner already had a plan?

Beyond changing his name and moving to Uzebekkisbekkistanstan?

Considering everything else we know about Trump's "plans," I'm betting there will have to be a Trump Tower, or a Trump hotel, or a Trump golf course involved in any peace agreement.

Israel's only interest is acquisition of territory. They have enormous military advantage and no intention of making peace. They kill Palestinians at will and bulldoze their homes at whatever pace the international community will tolerate. All peace talks are intended to pacify the international community while they continue to take more land and water.

All the signs are there. A man who hypnotizes the masses into believing any lie. Convincing them that evil is good and good is evil.

I'm not religious, but its hilarious that many trump voters thought obama was literally the anti christ, then they turned around and voted for someone who fits the bill so much better.
