Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, November 03, 2017

About half the respondents in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll suspect that President Donald Trump broke the law during the presidential campaign, and just 3 in 10 Americans surveyed think that alleged wrongdoing ends with those who were charged this week by the special counsel. The poll finds substantial support for the investigation, with 58 percent approving of how special counsel Robert Mueller is handling it, and more -- 68 percent -- approving of the filing of federal charges against Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and one of his associates.

Say what?! This isn't a party line R vs. D issue? Seems to me impeachment will be on the table soon.

Trump is in worse shape than Nixon. I give him less than a year, 6-9 months, before he's forced to resign.

Maybe he will flee to Russia and hang out with Snowden under Putin's tender loving care.

49% Think Trump Likely Committed a Crime

"A" crime ? (singular)

I would think with all the deals and contracts he's broken there are several.

2: At this point they should have already confiscated his passport and removed AF1 privileges.

That seems low to me.

I'm not sure if he committed a crime, but I am sure he knows who in his circle did. I am sure the time will come when he'll be singing, "I been framed, I never done nothing wrong, but every time I get the blame. I been framed."

Manafort's trial will start in May. Trump hasn't been charged with anything yet. No one is going to charge him with his persistent lying. Most likely money laundering and possibly tax evasion charges could emerge, similar to what Manafort faces. But this will take a couple of years.

You're thinking early 2025, maybe?

Yet I do believe that the majority of that 49% had no problem with obama having Bill Ayers [who DEFINITELY committed crimes] as a personal friend and advisor.

#11 - Deflection much? This is about BLOTUS and HIS crimes. The fact that Obama served 8 years without the indictment of anybody associated with his administration is impressive, especially when the RepubliKKKlan party was in charge of Congress for more than half that time, and has zero qualms with using their subpoena power as a political cudgel.

The Ayers issue is stupid when you compare that to the enormous number of mob and Russian mafia ties your orange, f'n moron, idol has had over the years (Felix Sader, convicted felon, and Russian mobster just to name one of the more famous Drumpf associates). Now two of his close associates have been indicted for activities intended to damage America. As somebody said a few days ago, the first two indictments are the end of the beginning, not the beginning of the end. The only way this won't outdo the number of indictments and prison sentences from Watergate is because BLOTUS has surrounded himself with fewer people than did Nixon, and his administration will have gone on for such a short time. I can't wait for the Don Jr. and Kushner indictments, they're coming and they'll be juicy.

#12 | POSTED BY _GUNSLINGER_ AT 2017-11-04 06:15 PM | FLAG: An indictment is only valid of something is proven. Just claiming he did something means nothing at this time but the left blowing smoke. Time will tell.
