If you're a fan of pulse-racing, skin-tingling, exhilarating fear, then you're almost certainly a fan of roller coasters, especially those with a good horror theme. The Euthanasia Coaster isn't quite horror themed' but its design is certainly like something out of our favorite spine-chilling tales or movies. A roller coaster specifically designed to kill you.
Yes, you heard us right, this roller coaster is constructed in such an extreme fashion that it's entirely possible for it to starve your brain of oxygen to the point you die. Why would someone do such a thing?
Lithuanian engineer Julijonas Urbonas had a life-long love of amusement parks and a belief that people have a right to die with dignity (as opposed to pinioned on the blade of a Vorhees Machete) and so he designed this incredible device. It was designed during his time at the Royal College of Art in London, and he conceived of it as an option for people to be euthanized "humanely with elegance and euphoria."
