Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Mocking people who took the idea seriously, Kid Rock said this morning he's not running for U.S. Senate. "--- no, I'm not running for Senate. Are you kidding me?" Rock said on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show. "Who couldn't figure that out? I'm releasing a new album. I'm going on tour too. Are you --- --- me?" Rock's new album, Sweet Southern Sugar, will be released Nov. 3, Stern said at the start of a wide-ranging interview that tackled Rock's wealth, his distaste for the music business and his 2018 tour plans.

America breathes a collective sigh of relief.

I love how he acts like it was obviously a joke.

This is trump's america. Nothing is too stupid to be supported by trump voters. Things that were obvious jokes a few years ago now have to be taken seriously.

And most of kid rock's audience is dumb enough to support trump.

He could win in the south for sure, if he said enough racist things about blacks and mexicans.

Steve Bannon is somewhere crying into his Seagram's 7.
What is really pathetic about this whole thing is that a hypothetical poll taken a month ago showed that 2/3 Michigan GOP supported this joker's potential run.

Like our state isn't enough of a joke with DeVos running around...

He's got to save his joke campaign for The Rock vs. Kid Rock 2020. Presumably America's final season because of the absurdity.

He's dumb enough. He's rightwing enough. He's bombastic enough. And, by golly, people just like him. Kid Rock For Senate!

But voting for a guy who says an island will tip over if we add more troops is your idea of a real bright bulb.

Devil Without a Cause is the only song of his I like, and it's because Joe C performs at the end.

I love the South Park where Cartman is trying to learn how to pass as retarded so he studies Kid Rock videos.

Republicans have to make up some pretty ridiculous crap about liberals in order to pretend liberals are as dumb as conservatives.

If you can't tell a person is joking when they say an island can tip over, that says more about you than it does about them.

Just additional proof that rightwingers have zero sense of humor.

Speaksoftly: No question that right-wingers are incredibly stupid. But let's be honest. If you have seen the video of the congressman asking the question about Guam tipping over, it is clear he was not joking. In fact the general who was testifying made the mistake of assuming it was a joke. He then quickly had to try and give a 'serious' answer without being too condescending.

"The subtle humor of this obviously metaphorical reference to a ship capsizing illustrated my concern about the impact of the planned military buildup on this small tropical island," Johnson said in the statement.

I was a little scared when I heard he was considering running for office. Now I'm terrified, because he's going to be releasing an album instead.

#18- No kidding. The definition of disappointment is hearing the beginning of "werewolves of london" turn into a kid rock "song".

I just spit up in my mouth a little bit....

I personally think he should do shampoo commercials for a new shampoo made from recycled 30 weight motor oil.
