Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, October 13, 2017

Late last month, Pentagon communications officials inadvertently included Bloomberg climate reporter Christopher Flavelle on an internal distribution list, in which Defense Department and Federal Emergency Management Agency officials discussed their evolving strategy for presenting the response to Hurricane Maria. Despite repeatedly alerting officials to the error, Bloomberg continued receiving the emails for five days. Those messages, each of which was marked "unclassified," offer a glimpse into the federal government's struggle to convince the public that the response effort was going well. That struggle was compounded by the commander-in-chief, and eased only when public attention was pulled to a very different disaster.

Republican supporters have no credibiity. They should be disgusted and had this been any other person and not a cult of personality of trump, they'd be yelling a storm acting disgusted. now we know for sure they'd be acting.

"What a crowd! What a turnout!" Best hurricane ravaged crowd ever!

I want to congratulate myself on such an "Amazing," "tremendous," "incredible," "really good" job I am doing. "I have plenty of time on my hands. All I do is work." And golf. But golf is work if you think about it. "Believe me."

"We have been really treated very, very nicely by the governor"..."The governor has been so incredible in his," Trump said, pausing a beat, "in his statements about the job we're doing."

It is just that nasty woman with the blood coming out of her whatevers that is doing all the complaining.

OK ----------------------------:
tell me again how the operation in PR is such a success.
Better yet, deflect to how Clinton once flew in a jet to avoid being caught in a hurricane, or how Obama once mispronounced "hurricane," or complain how an NFL game was canceled because of a hurricane.

Actually, the one I really felt the most legitimate evil emanations from was when Condi Rice is confronted in a high-end shoe shopping experience to be reminded people are dying and her responsibilities were elsewhere. The citizen was escorted out of the store by secret service.

Also, remember when the hospital craft finally arrived, but they turned off any local communications? Mismanagement barely touches the fail.
