Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump re-routed their personal email accounts to computers run by the Trump Organization as public scrutiny intensified over their use of private emails to conduct White House business, internet registration records show. The move, made just days after Kushner's use of a personal email account first became public, came shortly after special counsel Robert Mueller asked the White House to turn over records related to his investigation of Russia's interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion with Trump associates. It also more closely intertwines President Trump's administration with his constellation of private businesses.

Not sure what to make of this just yet.

There are denials and counter-denials.

From what I know of running mail servers (MTAs), this is not difficult to do.

But the questions remains, was it done?

One thing we know for sure. This is a very very serious matter. Remember when Hillary did the same thing? The conservative howled about it for 2 years. There are Trumpians out there who are still calling for her to be thrown in jail for it.

I know they will add these Trump people to their list of people who should be thrown in jail. Right? RIGHT?

It's not wrong when royalty does it.

Thanks GOP.

But but her emails.

Jared and Ivanka moved the emails after they were told by Mueller to hand over documents related to the campaign.

Sounds a little illegal.

"Last week, the leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is conducting its own investigation of Russian election interference, told Kushner they were "concerned" that they had heard about the emails in news reports instead of from him. The committee had asked him to turn over copies of emails related to the investigation."

Yep, nothing to hide there.

I'm sure the --------- that cried over Hillary's deleted emails will be here crying over this too.

Oh look, one group of partisans kvetching over another group of partisans. Zomg, her emails. Zomg, Russian hackers. But they did it too. Etc. And you wonder why so many people decided to give the finger to the establishment.

And by the finger, you mean Donald Trump.

- partisans

When one party has had better policies for the country than the only other relevant party for over 60 years, partisanship is no crime.

I've never been registered to a party but can objectively say Corky is 100% correct. You have to be a complete fool or a rich, greedy, male WASP to have voted GOP in that time.

Thanks goodness Jared and Ivanka send their email back and forth between this server and their White House server. Otherwise we would never know what they are thinking and doing. But, please--someone tell Jared 'Enough with the Ziggy cartoons'...

Corky,

No one wants to do more damage to the middle class than Republicans.

Nobody has succeeded in doing more damage to the middle class than the Clintons, not to mention instigating perpetual wars. The Clintons and Obama suck up to the middle class and then do the bidding of high finance. They are beholding to the same masters as the Republicans.

Care to tell us what "perpetual wars" were instigated by Bill or Hillary ("the Clintons")?

"Care to tell us what "perpetual wars" were instigated by Bill or Hillary ("the Clintons")?"

Hans, we have to be honest here, Hillary voted with the majority to give Bush the authority to invade Iraq. That's why Obama won the nomination in 2008. Hey, I supported her in 2016 but I won't ever pretend that she wasn't on board with the Iraq invasion. We have to keep our history accurate.

I don't dispute that, Danni.

But voting to give Bush the authority is not the same as having the authority (and exercising it) to invade Iraq ("instigating"). So some context is important.

Also, it was specified "Clintons": What "perpetual war" did Bill instigate.

Which is an opinion, sure, but a distinction without a difference to what I posted.

When one party has had better policies for the country than the only other relevant party for over 60 years, partisanship is no crime.

You may consider both parties evil, but one party's policies have still been less evil for the People.
