Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Mediaite: Lawrence O'Donnell had a really bad night on August 29, 2017. We draw that conclusion based on the above clip obtained by Mediaite, showing behind the scenes footage of a furious O'Donnell absolutely going bananas in what appear to be breaks in his show. The video, which lasts a full eight minutes, is a collection of clips from one evening (given O'Donnell's consistent outfit) and show the MSNBC anchor fuming about earpiece malfunctions, blasting off obscenities and screaming at his staff. We were able to link it back to the August 29 show.

I feel bad for him. That totally sucks when the pressure is on you to do your job, live, and someone else's lack of foresight or careless inconsideration is making it difficult.

Imagine if it was Alex Jones having these issues.

He sounds like O'Reilly during his meltdown. Almost the same words.

That was awesome. I was waiting for him to beat that poor paper-shuffling assistant with a wire hanger.

STOP THE HAMMERING!

I'm gonna get real high, put Visine in just my left eye, and go out to a bar, just to continually repeat this phrase.

Of course, I'll get beat up or arrested, but how does Lawrence of ARabies-a get away with it?

--I feel bad for him.

Why? He's a snot-nosed smuggie who represents what everyone hate about elite "journalists"; a massive ego and sense of entitlement.

That clip had its moments but it wasn't as good as the vintage clip of O'Reilly losing his mind and going ballistic.

- a massive ego and sense of entitlement.

Why, that sounds just like our own...

"They" are silent professionals. If someone has detected them, they are falling down on the job, so it's good you have reported them.

It's still early. Just wait until someone wakes up the "sleeping giant" as O'Donnel would say.

Wouldn't surprise me with if O'Donnel were the one behind it. Seems exactly like the sort of thing he'd do.

Maybe the problem is people whose names start with O'. Irish blood, English heart.

I'm sure this is what he is like everyday. Just a miserable, unhappy person 24-7.

Funny, Nutcase thinks he knows what "everyone hates." When someone is as distorted as Nutcase it is a given that they don't know what "everyone" thinks about anything.

Lawrence O'Donnell‏ @Lawrence

A better anchorman and a better person would've had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I'm sorry.

#24 - Pretty tame if you ask me. He was venting his frustrations. He's human. Happens.

Sorry about that, a little confused this morning.

Nulli, I honestly wish I looked like her but I look more like her grandmother. Her message though, 100% agree.

Anyone who magnifies the power of a television talk show is very unrealistic.

Journalists can get very pompous, especially in the formalized days of "Meet the Press," when they took themselves so damned seriously.
