Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, September 15, 2017

Even as British police were still sorting out exactly what had happened in the London Underground on Friday morning, President Donald Trump was using the incident to prove a point. "Another attack in London by a loser terrorist." he tweeted. "These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!" ... Asked about Trump's tweet that the London tube attack was perpetrated by people known to the security services, British Prime Minister Theresa May said it is "never helpful for anyone to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation."

Trump's willingness to jump to conclusions about the London incident stands in stark contrast to his defense of his unwillingness to fully condemn the white supremacists and neo-Nazis behind the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month.

Trump, who initially (and repeatedly) said that there were violent people on both sides in Charlottesville, attributed that response to a desire to gather all the facts before offering an opinion.

Trump has to keep the Terrorist Fear Meter all mongered up high. Especially if he is going to ignore domestic Nazi terrorists.

And if he wants to obfuscate his collusion with Chuck and Nancy Dem terrorists.

"Trump Tweets Without Facts"

Could apply to most of what he tweets.

However, since we're told his tweets represent what he is really thinking, the tweets do paint an interesting picture of the President.

Is Trump wrong?

Usually.

Even if he's not wrong in this case, responsible intelligent leaders don't go around placing blame or guilt without waiting for evidence.

I do love how the UK PM and mayor of London tell Twitler to STFU. The mayor pretty much says I don't have time for his --------, I have a city to take care of.

If the President is going to write: "... people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!" then the issue is not whether he is wrong, but that he should be absolutely sure at the time he writes that he is correct and he could not be sure.

"You don't make statements that direct unless you know the facts," Trump told reporters at Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday. "Here is the thing: When I make a statement, I like to be correct."

"Before I make a statement, I need the facts," he added. "I don't want to rush into a statement."

EXACTLY!

If it's against muslims, he proclaims guilt immediately.

If it's against nazis and klansmen, he needs to wait for all the facts.

Well, there's a simple explanation: Trump doesn't identify with Muslims.
