"I won, really, by March and April, but he just kept going," Clinton told NPR's "Morning Edition." "And he and his followers' attacks on me kept getting more and more personal, despite him asking me not to attack him personally. And, you know, I really regret that. But now he's got a chance to prove he's something other than a spoiler. And that is, to help Democrats. And I don't know if he will or not, but I'm hoping he will."

I'm so glad I NEVER voted for Hillary. Her arrogant self righteous attitude sucks mightily.

Sanders is not the reason she lost. Not even close. For her to think otherwise just shows her hubris.

The deposed Crown Princess is now blaming the delays in the Coronation Process for her loss...

Priceless, and humiliating.

Why stoke her ego??? She needs to learn she isn't entitled to the WhiteHouse and that she lost not once but twice.

Get a grip, Democrats: Clinton's book is not your biggest problem

The wrath Ms. Clinton's book inspired feels like an almost nostalgic aggression, a misdirected anxiety harkening to a time when Ms. Clinton could be judged as a threat and Mr. Trump dismissed as a joke. How much easier it is to rage at the defeated Ms. Clinton, who has sworn off running for office, than to confront the current chaos of Mr. Trump.

. . . These are panicked times, and Democrats, when gripped with panic, return to the comfortable pursuit of Clinton bashing. This may seem like a risk-free activity: Ms. Clinton remains historically unpopular for a losing candidate. But it is rash, as it reverts Democrats into the mindset of a bygone era and diverts them from both the brutal policies of the Trump administration and the most serious threat they face in the 2018 midterms, voter suppression.

No one is making anyone read Ms. Clinton's book, like Ms. Clinton, or listen to Ms. Clinton. No one is making anyone present Ms. Clinton's book as a great national crisis either. That's a choice – the easy choice. It is much simpler to fight the future that wasn't than contend with the nightmare of now.

Actually, her book is doing just that.

God Damn you Bernie Sanders running for president like you really wanted to be a real candidate instead of a sheep dog to drive liberals voters to my conservative Democrat campaign.

even though you spent a huge amount of time and energy after the primary election to campaign for me I hate I hate you I hate you!

I see that HDS is still more powerful than facts for both rwingers and lwingers. The reason she said he dragged it out is because he dragged it out. Fact.

And she's right, too, that this is his chance to be more than just a protest candidate spoiler, which is what his campaign managers admitted he was, and to do something positive with a party that has elected better presidents than any other party. Another fact.

Demanding partisanship from either side is a losing formula for the country; maybe winning formula for one party over the other, but not for the country overall.

It would be nice for some folks around here to consider that beyond their partisan blinders.

Just sayin'.

I'm just waiting for the "[INSERT PARTY HERE] are evil! They are eeeeeeeeevil!!!!"

The state in which we find our country in is god damn pathetic.

many many Dems have become upset about hillarys comments of late not just a few people here

but I know you yourself has a form of hillary obsession syndrome
and will bow to any asinine bitter comments she makes

Hillary couldn't take the heat from Grandpa Sanders and feared Trump would give her a reach around on the debate stage, but at least she'll make millions regaling us with her heroic tales.

Hillary supporters spazzed out so hard the first time she was losing (while winning the popular dem primary vote), they started the birther movement.

Then you don't remember correctly.

"Tomorrow is eight years to the day after I withdrew and endorsed then-senator Obama," she said. "I believed it was the right thing to do. No matter what differences we had in our long campaign, they paled in comparison to the differences we had with the Republicans."

www.theguardian.com

That was June 6th, Sanders hung around until July 12th.

#28, it's relative since 2008 primaries started sooner than 2016. The Iowa caucuses were January 3rd, 2008 and February 1st, 2016. Personally I don't fault either one for staying in as long as possible.

Hillary Willing to Be Veep

Hillary Rodham Clinton told colleagues Tuesday she would be consider joining Barack Obama as his running mate, and advisers said she was withholding a formal departure from the race partly to use her remaining leverage to press for a spot on the ticket.

Why would she drop out before Obama reaches the new magic number? She'll see what happens tonight, talk to SDs tomorrow, and then take a couple of days to decide.

Funny enough to watch all the entrail-peering going on, though. It's as if Obama supporters are worried about something, worried that another shoe might fall out of his over-sized closet, grasping at any straw that might mean they can stop sweating this race they have been losing on the ground for the last two months.

Remember when Hillary was the only one who could beat Trump because Sanders was for single payer pie in the sky but then she tripped over her advanced age breastical and lost and now most Dems are signing to Sanders' push for single payer anyway? Hahaha fun times.
