... one man, one woman, and another woman who gets off watching said man and other woman....

Wow. Lyin' Ted has just one-upped himself to new heights.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas used his verified Twitter account to like a porn video that's embedded into a tweet on Twitter.

Yes, it's a real porn and it's a real like and it's on his actual account.

I'm not sure what he was thinking, maybe he was feeling the urge to rub one out and decided to do it from his Twitter account?

Who knows. What we do have is evidence and archived proof that he actually did it, so even if he unlikes the porn like it will forever be locked into the internet which forgets nothing and even more rarely forgives.

Warning: The tweet below is graphic, but this is the video that Ted Cruz liked.

I figured Ted Cruz was into little boys like most other conservatives.

I'm very surprised he's straight...

... [Cruz] tried to make ------------ illegal in Texas ...

No he didn't, he's never been in a position to do so. However,

While Farrar knows her "proposed satirical regulations" will not become law, she hoped the bill's filing would at least foster a deeper discussion about what should be a priority during session years.

... Texas ... did make buying sex toys illegal.

Yes, in the '70's, when the country and the Supreme Court were struggling with obscenity laws. The statute was ruled unconstitutional. www.cbsnews.com

If you want to rag on Texas, fine. But, at least know WTF you're ragging about.

Yes, as solicitor general, he had a statutory duty to defend the state obscenity statute that banned sex toys. The defense failed and the statute was ruled unconstitutional.

That's a far cry from "[Cruz] tried to make ------------ illegal in Texas." As solicitor general he had no power to make ------------ illegal. That's done by legislators as was attempted satirically in 2017.

You have no way of knowing that. The quote came from a brief filed in court. Briefs are written by a team of lawyers. No one, except the team members, know who wrote what particular line. At least, Vanity Fair has the intellectual honesty to admit it before engaging in fantasy. The sentence that immediately follows the line you quoted says, "(It is unclear who penned that exact turn of phrase, but one could easily imagine Ted Cruz saying those words to a black-robed judge.)"
