Jason Chaffetz promised as much: two years of Clinton investigations. Once Trump was elected, not a peep.

It's almost as if these threats of investigations were nothing but political hot air.

Weird phrase to utter in defense of a naked abuse of power.

What, no lengthy legal definition? You know very well what Danni meant.

Maybe it isn't extortion but I have a feeling that Rep. King put his foot in his mouth because threatening to hold investigations of the Clintons unless the Democrats, who aren't even chairing the investigations, quit investigating Trump. I wonder if he was trying to threaten Mueller? At the least he should be censured by the House.

Maybe it doesn't fit the legal definition of extortion but yes and yes.

Go ahead and investigate them. Go ahead and through them in jail if they are guilty. I could give a rats ass about them if they truly committed crimes worthy of prison. But don't give me any bullcrap about not investigating the trumps and the rest of their flunkies. The republicans used investigations to undermine the previous administration and to undermine Hillary Clinton constantly. Now it is the GOP's turn in the barrel.
