World Bank: Imagine trying to open your first bank account, prove your eligibility for health insurance or apply for university without an ID; quality of life and opportunities become severely restricted. An officially-recognized form of ID is the key enabler -- critical not only for exercising a wide range of rights but also for accessing healthcare, education, finance and other essential services. According to the World Bank Group's latest estimates, this is problematic for an estimated 1.1 billion people around the globe.

I guess that's better than lacking a superego.

Imagine the amount of sociopathy *that* would engender.

Except for voting...you can still do that. Or should be able to do that, anyways.

"Except for voting...you can still do that."

And paying taxes. Let's not forget. God knows no ID has EVER been required for that.

Another fake news story. They take international statistics and then try to relate it to the US health care and Voting.
When most all Americans have an id and 100% of everyone who is on welfare or drives does.

Most all people in 3rd world countries dont. So what?

Except for millions of elderly people who no longer drive but hey, so what if they fought for their country in wars, screw them cuz they might vote Democratic because the Democrats protect Medicare and SS. And anyone who doesn't believe that is one of the cynical reasons behind voter ID laws is either stupid or a liar.

Just like anyone who doesn't believe that the fight against making voters produce an ID is an attempt by Dems to get votes from those who aren't qualified is stupid or lying?

Cuz there is so much evidence that before voter ID laws were passed in several states there was so much voter fraud. B.S. There was though election fraud, voter fraud is just a distraction from the biggest problem.

Imagine being 75 years old and giving up your driving license because you don't see well enough to drive and thus when you go to vote you're denied your right to vote.

Another imaginary problem in need of a solution.
Looks like the start of a campaign for chip implants.
