Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

White House press secretary Sean Spicer is leading a search for his own replacement on the briefing room podium as part of a larger plan to shake up the White House communications operation, according to two people with knowledge of the effort. Last week, Spicer and White House chief of staff Reince Priebus reached out to Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham about the role of press secretary and Daily Mail editor David Martosko about the role of communications director, according to a White House official.

The comedians will go wild imitating her whiny, sing song voice. Sean Spicer will seem like a great spokesman when she takes his place.

That's what we need, more infotainers in the White House.

Being Trump's press secretary is the worst job on the planet.

He's always contradicting himself and is constantly being caught in easily spotted lies.

This job is impossible.

Another staff shuffle, when the real problem in this administration is at the top.

The rot starts at the head.

Yeah. We can rely on Laura Ingraham to give straight answers without any spin.

WTF is Trump thinking? An infotainment partisan pundit as White House spokesperson? If he is going in that direction why not hire Rush Limbaugh? Can't afford him?

Trump thinks Fox News is reality TV.... his new lawyer who made a fool of himself on news shows this weekend? Also from Fox.

She's good. I would love to see that.

I think Comedy Central (a bonafide liberal news source) kinda went full-clown over Sean Spicer. Never go full-clown.

NeverTrump!

That's getting kind of old, isn't it? It's kind of getting tired because the predictions of Trump falling on his face didn't come true.

Trump says and does a lot of stupid things. That I recognize that and call it out has nothing to do with Never Trump.

Jeff, I respect your willingness to concede fault on Trump's part. By the same token, I can acknowledge that Obama did some dumb things (saying the officer "acted stupidly," his surprising coziness with Wall Street, his slowness to pull out of Afghanistan, etc.)

Trump has unusually vocal detractors because he is unusually terrible as a leader. His winning the election despite predictions does not negate the fact that he is neither smart nor ethical.

Ingraham? She's no Tony Snow.

Did you see his first press conference? He made a clown of himself. Angrily yelling lies about the size of the inauguration in a high pitched voice. Melissa McCarthy destroyed his career. It was only a matter of time.

Are you kidding? He falls on his face every week.

He's under investigation because of stupid things he tweets then has to deny.

Or wait, IS he under investigation now? He says he is but his lawyer says he isn't. So hard to keep track of total liars.
