Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, June 19, 2017

Eric Levitz, New York: "[President] Trump, for months, has bristled almost daily about the ongoing probes. He has sometimes, without prompting, injected. "I'm not under investigation' into conversations with associates and allies. He has watched hours of TV coverage every day -- sometimes even storing morning news shows on his TiVo to watch in the evening -- and complained non-stop ... " -- [Politico] ... Let's say [President] Trump knows he is guilty of nothing, and that the special prosecutor's investigation will inevitably exonerate him. Wouldn't that make this behavior just as -- if not more -- concerning? Either the president is acting erratically, due to a rational fear of what [Robert] Mueller's probe may reveal, or else he is suffering from an obsessive disorder that renders him helplessly self-destructive.

Trump has stomped all over the naïveté defense. All that remains is the insanity plea. To plausibly deny that the president is a criminal, Republicans must stipulate that he's out of his mind. Which is to say: There is no credible explanation for Trump's conduct that is compatible with the idea that he is fit for high office.

Not even close.
I'm an adult.
Trump is, chronologically.
But in terms of emotional maturity and development?
ROTFLMAO.

The GOP must really be desperate for those tax cuts to tolerate this stain on civilization. Hell, even W looks like the embodiment of probity compared to The Don...

That doesn't make any sense. You have no evidence so you start talking in circles and jabbering nonsense. Wheres the evidence? If anyone dares to say your wrong they must be insane. Typical socialist nonsense.

Lets just pretend for a single moment that you are right and there is no evidence and more importantly no wrongdoing.

Why has he done so much to cover up "no evidence" and "no wrongdoing"?

If he's innocent he ought to lay back, relax & let the system work.

The evidence is his actions.

You don't scramble to hide things, stop investigations, and make people refuse to answer questions if you're innocent.

So he's either guilty, or innocent and insane/stupid.

Either of those situations mean he shouldn't be president.

Hey Mr NJ Casino! Nice bankrupt businesses there and here. Cool "strategery"!

How about going to the gym and losing about 70 or 90 extra lbs? How about getting rid of the tanning bed and orange hair dye?

How about releasing your already audited tax returns and divesting yourself of your many private businesses and focusing on just being a president?

Surely any obese 70 year old president would do that!

Trump is insane AND guilty.

Thanks Deplorables.

Trump is caught in a nightmare of his own making. He never expected to actually get elected, so he never gave much thought to the actual doing of the job. Any other serious candidate would have had most of his nominees already selected or at least "short listed", probably before the election was even over. This was just supposed to be a big public relations event that would greatly increase the value of his "brand". Actually being president is work. He's not really into that.
