Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, June 16, 2017

At 3 a.m. Friday, Infowars ... published a 30-minute video to YouTube containing roughly 10 minutes of [Megyn] Kelly's pre-interview where she's attempting to get Jones to agree to the interview. In the tape, Kelly repeatedly reassures Jones she intends to be fair. "You'll be fine with it," she can be heard saying. "I'm not looking to portray you as a bogeyman ... The craziest thing of all would be if some of the people who have this insane version of you in your heads walk away saying, 'You know, I see the dad in him. I see the guy who loves those kids and is more complex than I've been led to believe.'"

If he did this without NBC's consent he is in for a world of butthurt.

Alex Jones is an amoral nutcase with a big mouth. He has no value whatsoever and should be ignored.

I'm sure Alex would feel the same if Comey had taped Trump.

If he did this in Texas, he should be fine, it's a one-party consent state. The bubble headed blonde and her bosses at NBC built this. She tried to normalize a mental patient, big D DIRTBAG just like she did for all those years at Faux, and she got burned. She needs to be sent back to the minors, she's not ready for real news, not when NBC has such a great stable of bright young talent for whom Kelly's not fit to carry their microphone.

He may actually be in a world of butthurt anyhow. Depending on where this happened and if it is a 2-party consent state.

Good. It was a hit piece from the word jump. Now she and the network will have to rethink their edit. Just like with Trump, she has an ax to grind, she wanted to make him look bad and now it will backfire. (Jones doesn't need assistance to look bad...)

LOL.

NBC can go to hell for hiring megyn kelly. As if we're just supposed to forget that she spent the last 10 years shilling for polluters, racists, homophobes, and warmongers.

"Santa Clause is white, and so is Jesus!"

"She tried to normalize [Alex Jones]"

I think that's what she presented to Alex Jones, for the purpose of the interview, but I don't see that as her actual intention.

He does a FINE job of making himself look bad. I can't believe how many suckers listen to his lies at all.

His Sandy Hook conspiracy theory has earned him the title of one of the top ten vilest skin sack of all time.

#11 - She got owned by Putin, allowed him to say whatever he wanted without pushback. She is a NON-journalist, got where she is because of her looks. She has been pandering to Reichwing talking points for years, that's what made her famous, why should she stop now?

#14 | Posted by _Gunslinger_ at 2017-06-16 02:32 PM | Reply

She's as much of a "performance artist" as Jones. Both are totally fake.

Jones is Bill Hicks. He doesn't even try to hide that fact anymore. In fact he and his producer buddy are proud they were able to pull the wool over the RW rubes eyes for so long and are making big money by peddling their info wars crap to the low IQ morons.

I wonder if NBC realizes the mistake they made hiring her and giving her own Sunday night show? I also wonder if she said the same kinds of things to Putin:

"I'm not looking to portray you as a bogeyman ... The craziest thing of all would be if some of the people who have this insane version of you in your heads walk away saying, 'You know, I see the dad in him. I see the guy who loves those kids and is more complex than I've been led to believe.'"

Think about it: You are given your own network TV show on Sunday nights, you can interview anyone in the world, and one of the first people you pick to interview is Alex Jones. Why?

The only thing I can take from your post is that you really, really don't like Megyn Kelly.
Which is fine, but completely irrelevant. My point stands. She wants to put Jones at ease.

She wants to put Jones at ease.

Rx1: Haldol, 5mg q8-12hr initially; not to exceed 30 mg/day.
Rx2: Thorazine, 50mg initially, then 25mg q.i.d. until stabilized.

NBC may be reconsidering their choice to accept sloppy seconds from Roger Ailes.

Haha! Yes! That's what she should've done.

#19 - I don't think she's trying to put him at ease, I think she's telling him the ground rules for the interview, two totally different animals! She's telling him it's not going to be a critical piece. I've done lots of interviews over the years in both my former career and my current career. You don't set ground rules like that ahead of time. The pre-interview is where you make the other person feel comfortable, ask about their life, their interests, etc. Then you turn the recorder on and let the hang themselves.

Filterman is a breddy gud source of laughs and maymays, like the following:

That said, he might be right about endocrine disruptors in the water supply interfering with amphibian sexual development. Also, he BTFO megyn kelley, because she recently lost JPMORGAN as a sponsor after releasing the teaser for the forthcoming interview.

Will this be enough of a humiliation to cause her to cut her hair again?

My dude, you seem to be more obsessed about race than were the nazi anthropologists. Being that stressed-out all the time significantly increases levels of one's cortisol, which is no good for your long-term health. Try a 30 minutes of daily exercise, meditation, and/or some cannabis. Just saying.
