Lucky break for Utah, although the Mormons will just elect another partisan hack

"I kind of had a little bit of a midlife crisis. I turned 50, I'm sleeping on a cot," Chaffetz said of his life as a congressman in Washington. "The overwhelming driving force is the idea that I just love my family. And a lot of people will never ever believe that, but that is the truth."

Honestly comes off as he got caught in bed with someone other than his wife.

Also....Sleeping on a cot? C'mon..

The Clinton investigation was a bust. He doesn't want to be on the hook for a Trump investigation. It is NOT something he signed up for.

Or possibly something is coming to light about him in an investigation.

"The overwhelming driving force is the idea that I just love my family.

So how is working for fox news IN NEW YORK going to help him with his his family IN UTAH more?

This pig got caught not doing his ethics oversight job. He has seen evidence of a major republican disaster around the bend, and he is hoping to escape before it hits.

At least at Fox, I don't have to pretend to have any ethical standards!

Isn't he the one who took the classified heading off the letter Comey sent to Congress about reopening the Clinton email investigation and then leaked it to the press, thereby forcing Comey to go public with the info? Some say he got caught and is being forced to resign as a result. That's the rumor anyway.

#12 Sounds plausible. Resign or we out you, or worse, reveal your internet search history.

Tried and true path to the Utah governor's mansion, following in Kasich's shoes.

I can't stand the beaver faced dirt bag. He leaked Comey's letter, and now he has no stones for investigating a Rethug administration. If this GOP had been around during the Nixon impeachment, Nixon would have survived, and would have been cheered by GOP voters and sycophants in the media and congress. Nixon would have given the keynote at the next GOP convention.
