Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, May 15, 2017

A giant "click farm" in China has 10,000 phones rigged together to register phony likes on apps and social media accounts to artificially boost their popularity. A Russian journalist filmed the operation, which charges for the services. The click farm helps content go viral and provide advertising opportunities for clients. The footage can be seen on the alarmist financial site Zero Hedge, which claims, "expect both Facebook and shortly thereafter, Twitter, to go the way of 6 Degrees, Friendster and MySpace."

Beautiful non-sequitur. How unrelated can you get?

But more importantly, you mean the data that said she'd win by 2 points...and then she won by 2 points?

The real problem here is the MSM is using social media sites like it is real news, and the MSM will pay large sums of money to outlets that will provide large hits to social media sites on a close to real time basis.

It is not about the news, it is about making sure there is a huge viewing.

The real problem is people like you believing absolutely anything as long as it agrees with your world view.

If that were the case they would have had Hillary but a much wider margin. And the thing is Hillary did do better overall than Trump. He one a handful of states - some by a slim margin.

That said... Polls have a margin of error and when you examine that margin of error and the votes in those states - it was at the extreme end of the margin or just beyond. Pollsters use algorithms basing the poll on interpolating the information collected to the rest of the population by demographics. Trump got out the vote in the rust belt. Hillary did not. Even with all the other GOP shenanigans that is the real end of the story.

ALL the media is using Social Media sites. The FRINGE "media" even more so than the MSM. Where do you think half those fake news stories originate? Fake News posts on SM sites, didn't you learn anything from the examination of Facebook and others post election? I know there were multiple posts here about it. One of the biggest originators is in the Republic of Georgia. They were making up the s***t and posting it on conservative threads and getting tremendous views off it. I think that's where virtually all of Alex Jones' news originates (just to name one)...
