Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, April 19, 2017

The networks largely ignored important national priorities such as jobs and the fight against ISIS, in favor of a news agenda that has been dominated by anti-Trump controversies and which closely matches what would be expected from an opposition party.

Hmmm, maybe if the a**wipe did something positive the news would be better.

If Hitler had more positive news articles written about him, he wouldn't have turned out so bad.

The cited article says that 93% of the coverage of the temporary travel ban was negative.

I'm surprised that the percentage wasn't closer to 100% of the coverage.

The rollout of the travel ban was an unmitigated, self-inflicted fiasco. Pres Trump made the rollout a media event, and then proceeded to lead an epic screw-up of a rollout.

When TSA agents at the gates in the airports were saying they have not been informed of what is going on, when senior Trump administration officials who should know about the travel ban say that they found out about it via the TV news, etc., etc., etc....

What is the media expected to report on? That Pres Trump at least remembered to sign the executive order before he walked out of the room?

Has the bar been placed that low by Pres Trump?

What jobs?
When he does something not completely screwed up, I'm sure they'll report on it. Until then, they report on what's happening. But, I know, you want all "news" to look like Fox and Friends.

So 10% of the news media is lying.

90% of the BS Trump has pooped out at Americans is negative.

Repealing the "New Deal" is not why Americans voted for the Jagov.

How'd they miss the remaining 10%?
Slackers!

Is the article gone, the link broken, or is NMCI just being a pain? I don't get an article when I click the link.

NewsBusters is another of the rwing echo chamber causes of low news IQ among their readers.

So, not a news service at all, but a rwing PAC.

Yeah, why is the media reporting on controversies Trump started? Who cares if the Muslim ban and repeal of Obamacare were complete failures?

Ah, how I miss the good ol' days when Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Breitbart always gave Obama a fair shake.

The reason those venues exist is because the mainstream media is so obviously biased.

Yes JeffJ they are biased towards truth, but thankfully we have a free market system which provides fake news for those who prefer it.

They are a collection of human beings who allow their personal biases to affect how they report news.

No, they exist because the lowest denominator club that is the GOP base needed to be spoon fed the ignorant ---- the GOP needs them to believe in order to get them to continue to vote against their own interests.

The media is cutting Trump a break as usual...

when only 90% is negative but yet 100% of what he does is -----....
