Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, April 14, 2017

During a live news report on Thursday, CNN spotted President Trump getting on Air Force One to head out to his Mar-a-Lago estate for the Easter Weekend – a full day early.

The departure wasn't announced on Trump's daily schedule which only had him signing H.J Res 43 at 11:00 am in the morning, as well as a meeting with I-85 bridge first responders at 2:00 pm.

In the past, Trump's schedule has accounted for his weekly Florida trips. This time it doesn't.

I guess we can't blame the White House. Why would they want to advertise to their closest supporters that the president was taking the rest of the day off early in order to get a head start on his weekend vacation? Most people in the United States aren't afforded that luxury, including Trump's blue collar workers.

In total, Trump has spent seven of his 13 weekends as president at his Palm Beach, Florida estate. For the record, it's only been 5 days since Trump was last seen playing golf and he's already getting back on Air Force One to make another trip.

That means Trump has spent 28 percent of his entire term as President of the United States traveling to and staying at Mar-a-Lago.

Thank God we didn't elect Hillary because she would be so low energy. Sad.

This is what worries me. The line that he has for North Korea. This weekend they are celebrating the birthday anniversary of Kim Jong Il. NK is known for launching middle test during the celebration to demonstrate the strength of their military to their people.

This concerns me greatly.

And it critics suddenly are.....

For the record I think its BS he goes there, IMO he should spend every day of his 8yr term at the WH, sleep when you are dead... but thats how I roll...

Well he did say he would spend all his time at the White House working since there was so much work to be done.

Mind you he had no idea he might actually wind up being president at that point in the campaign.

I don't know if it's better that he spends most of his time not working or not.

Maybe we should encourage him to take an 8 year vacation so he does less harm.

The President will spend Easter at Mar-a-Lago. Most liberals won't mind because it gives them an easy opportunity to bash Christianity.

You should try going to a good Christian church some time. You might stay to learn something about the religion.

What faith do you practice now? None?
